Alright so i gave a simple breakdown to muscle building on a previous post and i thought I'd do the same for fat loss! ❌Unlike when you wanna build muscle and have to eat above your maintenance calories, when you wanna lose fat, you have to eat under your maintenance calories preferably by 500-700 calories ❌ Consume the majority of your carbs pre and post workout. This also applies to putting on muscle ❌ Increase your proteins, lower your carbs and fats with fats being the lowest ❌ Stay consistent and go by the mirror not by the scale as it does not differentiate between fat, muscle, food or water weight. ❌ Again, stay consistent with your workouts and food, it's a marathon not a sprint! If you reduce the calories greatly from the start you're gonna crash your metabolism thus going against what you're trying to achieve, rather gradually drop your calories every time your weight stalls (give it two weeks or so before you decide it's stalling) and when you get to the point where you're eating around a 1500 calories, just up your cardio/activity levels instead of reducing calories further more. ❌Last but not least, sleep! I managed 26:51, if your gym doesn't have some of this equipment then just swap in for something similar! I.e assault bike for normal bike, ring press ups for standard/knee press ups.
