What are fat cells, triglycerides and how do fat cells die and contribute to weight loss?
First and foremost, you have to realize just like any other cells, fat cells or (adipocytes) only increase in number from childhood to adulthood, and run through their cell cycles and will eventually die and are replaced with new ones. Dieting and exercising will contribute to the shrinking of fat cells. Now what happens is that during a workout, the fat stored inside the fat cells (triglycerides) which are three complex fatty acids, will leave the cell itself through some complex hormonal pathways, a process known as hydrolysis and travel through the blood stream to the muscle needing the energy. The fat cell however will fill itself up with water, until it is able to shrink, therefore it is important to remain a caloric deficit diet so you are able to see results. And remember, you don’t burn fat, you shrink it!
First gym session of the year after a well deserved rest, i havent trained since Christmas day, so as i warmed up my body i smashed a full upper body workout (👇🏾for full routine 👇🏾) just to re-adjust my body to this training.
30 min on stairmasters (+/- 300 cals burned)
Set 1: 5 sets of bench press (2 warm up sets and increase weight up to max on the last 3 sets)
Set 2: 4 superstar of incline dumbbells flies and parallel dumbbell press (increased on every sets)
Set 3: 4 superset of cable cross over with dips
Set 4: superset Arnold press with side and front dumbells raisers ( increase on every sets)
Set 5: 4 sets of superset wide grip lat pull down behind the back then wide grip lat pull down front and close grip pull down
As we say goodbye to another year and open the door to a new year I find myself truly blessed for the health and shape I have acquired! Time to show 2018 whose boss! Happy new year fam! Let’s set it off! 💪💪 #newyear
Haters will say its not low enough but you can't get any more ass to grass then this!😂First attempt with Indian squat at 315lbs went pretty well, Haven't seen too many other people attempt this variation of squat other than @bradleymartyn himself. Next goal 405! @bradleymartyn @gymshark @iggymfails
