I like when a new menu launch is well thought out, fine tuned and has been given as much care as the regular menu, so @ninobahrain 's breakfast launch was a great experience. The breakfast will be served Friday and Saturday 8-1PM in their Riffa branch, and there will be a tantalizing bread station where you can choose any pastry or bread for .600 fils(!), as well as a nice selection of egg dishes, savory breads and sweets all for the amazing price of 3-3.5BD. Standouts for me were the turkish simit with baked eggs (eggs cooked with creamy spinach and garlic yogurt), the wild mushroom frittata which was perfectly flavored with three types of mushrooms and sage, and the eggs benedict which was an excellent dish. The eggs benedict came with a great hollandaise sauce, smoky bacon and these little hash brown fritters that I devoured. From the sweet dishes my hands down favorite was the kaymak and honeycomb, which was golden toasty brioche, with that pure fresh clotted cream that's so hard to find, honeycomb, figs and nigella seeds. It's like all my cravings brought together on one plate. The french toast fell flat to me- too heavy with the nut butter, and the Japanese pancakes were sweet and lovely but tasted more like brioche than pancakes to me. Highly recommended, definitely worth checking out, pretty sure this will be a regular for me! Swipe to see all the pics

Don't you agree that mushrooms 🍄 taste perfectly fine without anything else?! You can prepare a wonderful meal with these autumnal 🍂delights by just adding some chopped onions, eventually some garlic, a pinch of salt, fresh pepper from the mill and some fresh parsley as a topping. 😋 A simple, culinary delight.
