Routine is such a big part of our lives. Our work routine of 9-5. Our meal routine of breakfast in the morning, lunch at 12, dinner in the evening. Our fitness routine of an hour at the gym after work.⠀
Not all of us have routine solidified into our day-to-day living, but even those of us who do, may be forgetting one very important part: self-care! 🙌⠀
Self-care is JUST as important as the other routines. To be your healthiest and happiest self, you need to show yourself some love!!⠀
The term ‘self-care’ may seem a bit ambiguous. But it really depends on the person.⠀
So when you think about creating your own self-care routine, the first question to ask yourself is this: what makes me happy?⠀
Write down the things that make you happy and bring you joy in your day-to-day life, share them here in the comments if you like 👇🏻 But make sure that along with your other routines, you MAKE TIME for them.⠀
Remember...self-care is NOT selfish. It is essential!! 💗

Are you wondering how you can incorporate exercise into your lifestyle even if all you have is 20-30 minutes daily?
Here are a few things you should know:
1. You should not exercise longer than 2 hours at a go! There's a reason workout DVDs are 30 to 45 minutes - that's the appropriate amount of time you should spend exercising, 4-5 times a week.
When you exercise for longer than 2 hours at a time, your body releases stress hormones than causes your body to store fat and retain water. This is counter productive for weight loss.
2. Intensity counts more than duration. Your aim should be to alternate periods of short, intense exercise with less-intense recovery periods. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) burns more fat than steady training at a lower heart rate does.
Mountain climbers, butt kicks or high knees are great HIIT exercises to incorporate into your daily routine. .
3. Cardio sessions count as extra credit.
A 30-60 minute cardio workout is enough to accomplish your weight-loss. By adding cardio on 2 more days a week you will increase your weekly burn, and speed up your weight loss.
You can start right where you are and with what you have. Rope jumping, stair climbing, walking and dancing are a few of the exercises you can do in the comfort of your home space at your convenience.

brilliant multi-level marketing plans), but do you really know what they
are? Does anybody know what they are? Sure, they smell great -- but what do
they do? "Essential oils give plants their smell," explains acupuncturist Elizabeth
Trattner, DOM, who has trained under Andrew Weil, MD for 30 years. The oils
are a concentrated distillation of the plant, and can be up to 100 times
more potent than the plant itself, says Trattner.
Essential oils have been used in fragrances for years, but lately, they've
scooted into the spotlight as a way to treat health issues. Diffused,
inhaled, ingested or applied topically, some studies suggest that essential
oils really can have healing powers -- potentially.
🔬Look for ISO-approved oils. ISO stands for International Organization for
Standardization, which is an independent organization in Switzerland that
provides standards for packaging, conditioning, storage and manufacturing. 🛑Watch out for essential oils labeled "nature identical," which are
synthetic and don't include important trace chemicals found in the plant
Here, the best essential oils to treat whatever ails you. But first, a word
of warning: Essential oils are not meant to be applied topically without a
carrier oil or some form of dilution. "I have witnessed so many patients who
have had allergic reactions to it when put directly on skin, scalps, and
nails," says Trattner. She says the best way to get the aromatherapy
benefits of oils is to put a few drops in a diffuser or a bowl of hot water.

Are you thankful for the life you're living?
I sure am!
I'm temporarily located in a tiny town in southeast Australia. When I got here, I knew not a single person.
I didn't know the area and, to be honest, there aren't many of the big city experiences I've been used to most of my life.
This could have been a terrible, lonely and boring experience.
But it's been the EXACT opposite!
I've met the nicest people, some that I've grown really close to in such a short period of time.
One of whom is responsible for the pictures for today. Not only did she alert me to the presence of the gorgeous black cockatoos (a once a year experience here!), but she also let me "steal" her pictures because they were so much better quality than mine!
I've spent many days without the internet since I've been here. An experience that would have left me a blithering mess 6 months ago.
An experience that encouraged me to get out of the house, exploring the incredible, heart stopping beauty of nature that is all around me.
This could have been lonely and boring.
But instead, I'm SO GRATEFUL for my time here.
Life really is about perspective.
Next time you find yourself in a mental, emotional or physical space that makes you unhappy, think about what you can do instead to change your own experience.
Life doesn't just happen to you.
You happen to life.
Make it count. ❤
Seriously friends, it's time to Lighten Up your load and let life flow. How can you create something new for yourself if don't even know what you're carrying around with you.
We aren't taught how to hold our energetic boundaries and not take on everyone else's stuff. Who knows what you're carrying around?? It's time learn how to know where you start and another stops so you can create an amazing aligned life for yourself. ▫️Bring water to high boil, carefully drop eggs in, turn heat to medium + set timer for 7 minutes, the second they're done, drop them into an ice bath
