"How to gain Spiritual Authority"... It's important as intercessors to understand how to pray effectively. As believers, we know that there is a natural and spiritual realm. Just because you cannot see it with your natural eye, does not mean it doesn't exist. Ask God to open your spiritual eyes, to gain understanding. When you call on God, He will show you hidden things (Jeremiah 33:3). Here are a few keys:
1. Pray fervently
2. Fast -(Matthew 17:21)
3. Ask God for more understanding
4. Pray the will of God
5. Pray in Faith
6. Stay in faith- do not waver, no matter what it looks like in the natural
7. Prayer is unveiling- when the spirit realm is unveiled it helps us to pray more effectively
We live in a society where there's always someone ready to give their point of view. As believers, we understand that our fight is not natural, its spiritual (Ephesians 6:12). Just because you may not see it with your natural eye, it does not mean it doesn't exist. There are always spiritual forces at work. Sometimes, God will show you something, and it's not for you to speak on it yet, but it's for you to pray. Our power is in prayer. This is why it's so important to pray. Prayer is vital to the life of the believer. #BeAnOvercomer#pray#trustGod#focus#speaklife#purpose#vision#wisdom

No doubt, firstborns have great responsibilities on their shoulders. Reuben, the firstborn of Jacob had the responsibility to protect Joseph from harm. Unfortunately he couldn't, because he was not present when Joseph was sold to the merchants.
One of the significance of a firstborn is Protector- It feels good to know that you have an elder brother or sister who will defend you when the need arises.
May God grant our firstborn the supernatural strenght to take up their responsibilities in Jesus name.
Join me this evening @8.30pm as we pray for our firstborn! Pls share.

"YWAM is dedicated to worship Jesus and engage in intercessory prayer as integral aspects of daily life. We also recognize the intent of Satan to destroy the work of God and we call upon God’s power and the Holy Spirit to overcome his strategies in the lives of individuals and in the affairs of nations"
YWAM Foundational Value #4 : Practice Worship and Intercessory Prayer
Last week I met with an amazing intercessory prayer warrior. We spoke about praying and the need to use the word when we pray. I have always struggled with prayer. Not going to lie, I frequently forget to do it, except in those times when I squeak out a “God, please help me...” And I wondered why my prayers were weak and ineffective. Hebrews 4:12 says the Word of God is alive and active. It’s sharper than any 2 edged sword, piercing to the division of soul (emotions, mind, and will) and spirit, of joints and marrow. It judged the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. When we pray without using the word, we go into battle never taking our weapon out of its sheath. So today I’m going to begin wielding my sword. I created a list of things I want for my home and my marriage. I found scripture to prayer into those areas and the Word of God will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). I will boldly pray the things that are not yet and let my requests be made known to God (Romans 4:17, Hebrews 4:16). #intercessoryprayer#spiritualwarfare#prayinginthespirit#inspiritandtruth

Among the many beautiful and awe-inspiring God encounters that took place during the recent "Love is the Language" Scriptural Art event, one that stood out for me was when someone requested to be prayed for in our little Prayer Corner of the Gallery.
As I placed my hand over the person and began to pray for her intention, soon an image of a tiny sailboat in the midst of a huge ocean came to mind. This was not unusual for me, but the same doubts as to whether this was really from God crept into my mind as always. Yet in faith, I proceeded to describe the image to her, along with inspired words from the Lord, including: "Courage! Be not afraid, for I am with you always."
As I ended the prayer, still unsure if what I had said meant anything for the person, she soon opened her eyes in great bewilderment, and immediately brought me to see the painting she had just drawn awhile ago at our Create corner, where participants get to paint artworks of their own on the spot. When I saw how the image I had described to her in prayer was captured in her painting, I was astounded! Even the words I had uttered to her were written on her painting!
While I have had people affirm me of how my images described in prayer spoke to them, this was the first time my image was actually drawn out in a painting, and by the very person I was praying for!
Through this amazing encounter, it not only affirms how God can speak through intercessory prayer, it even shows how God can indeed speak through our own inspired artworks, even when the person had not much experience in art nor in intercessory prayer.
Having a creative element to such intercessory prayer really brings prayer and art to a whole new level, one that offers so many more other possibilities. I pray that we as Church may continue to explore new and creative ways to incorporate prayer and spirituality with the creative arts, so that more people may encounter God's real and concrete love and presence through more visible and beautiful ways!
Before you begin your day, pray. For the lives lost & still suffering as a result of natural disasters; Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico, Mexico etc. For the brethren consumed by tragedy in Las Vegas last night, and the millions more around the globe that aren't even reported. Remember the innocent lives affected & taken because of the evil in this world. Uplift & submit them in your prayers today & always. This world is NOT our home. #PrayfortheWorld#IntercessoryPrayer#TheGeneration#TimeIsRunningOut#AreYouReady ?
An intercessor's calling will often be misunderstood. Even by those in the church. They don't "get" it. They can't comprehend how you can spend the majority of your day praying. ---------- You will be viewed as lazy...what do you Do all day?....just what are you accomplishing?....you should be working a "real" job. ---------- An intercessor's calling is not for the weak. Oftentimes you will have to pray for those who make these assumptions, out of their own ignorance. You have to pray for them from a heart of purity to keep yourself out of offense and to keep from having the rest of your prayers hindered.
---------- If you are called to be an intercessor, make sure you are hearing from God. If you are, then get ready for the ride of your life. It's all you can think about. It will consume you. It's painful at times but in your secret place, it's also very rewarding. Rewards that others may never see and will surely never understand. It's sheer intimacy with the King. ---------- The call of an intercessor is a high calling. Answer yes with everything you have inside you. #intercession#intercessoryprayer#rewarding#lonely#Godanswersprayer#Hehearsyou#misunderstood#itsok#Heisfaithful#answerthecall#sogladisaidyes#noregrets
