This morning we captured another beauty by @konstantarchitecture + home at sunrise. We were lucky and ended up with a pink blue skies. I also had a fun tripod stance. #anythingfortheshot 💙 I can’t wait to share the photos! #architecturephotography @kathleenvirginiaphoto
In late 2010, listening to and honoring the little girl that is me, aka my soul, I resigned from a well paying job in order to dedicate myself to trauma recovery and exploration of my creative side.
It would be ten months before I returned to work, this time as an independent consultant. Having met my inner artist, painting, drawing and illustrating alongside journal entries became regular companions in my continuing healing journey.
In 2012 I perceived a deep inner calling to someday shift into a creative career, that I might nourish the world with what nourishes me.
In 2014, as first and foremost a beloved child of God, I took the biggest leap of faith of my life.
Today, I am trauma survivor and thriver, artist, writer, poet, story teller, public speaker and founder/owner of Abundance Art LLC. Nourishing the world with what nourishes me.
I look back to those early days of 2011. To Shantivanam Sunset, hand drawn pastel mandala. To New Life, the sun rising with hope and powerful potential, flooding the world with light.
I fly to Chicago and New York in a few short weeks to share my story through my new book From Fear to Love How Creativity Saved My Life and Will Change Yours For the Better (Amazon http://a.co/afLfQ1n).
I invite and encourage you to visit and shop my website, grown from that persistent inner calling to a beautiful place of love and healing and a wide variety of inspiring and transforming visual and written art. Http://www.abundanceart.com. Link in profile.
While you're there, consider how you can be a part of making the world a more beautiful place by supporting the Abundance Art Fall Harvest Fundraiser.
Be blessed this day and always.
Everything is all in one place now: t-shirts, interiors and the odd bit of upcycled furniture!
We've been decorating our Victorian home, on and off for about six months.
It is a slow process as other areas of my life scream for attention. However, I'm excited to share our progress over on the blog.
I've taken on the huge challenge to decorate with colour, go dark.
What if I get it wrong...will I run back to good old white?
I don't know...whatever happens
I'd love for you to join me as I create a dramatic, stylish interior.
It's started!!!...link in bio (I love writing that!😊)
