Pumpkin Spice Latte Smoothie 🎃
Do you LOVE fall? I do and all thing pumpkin! Pumpkin has tons of health benefits in addition to tasting great!! Why not make this today??? Ingredients * 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your favorite dairy-free milk)
* ¼ cup ice
* ½ cup canned pumpkin
* 1 banana, frozen and sliced
* 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
* 1 shot espresso (or 2 tsp instant coffee granules)
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 2 tsp maple syrup
* 1 tbsp hemp, flax or chia seeds (optional)
* 1 scoop or packet vanilla Juice Plus protein powder
Mix all in a high speed blender- drink and ENJOY!!!!!
These gluten free dairy free nut free brownies are everything!!! Simple to make and so delish!
Serves: 16 Brownies
½ cup sunbutter
3 large eggs
½ cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
½ cup cacao powder
½ teaspoon celtic sea salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup chocolate chips
In a food processor, combine sunbutter, eggs, and maple syrup
Pulse in vanilla, vinegar, cacao powder, salt, and baking soda
Stir in chocolate chips by hand
Transfer batter to a greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish
Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes
Cool for 1 hour
Dinner tonight is the same as a few nights before: crispy chicken caesar! And I didn't eat dinner last night...So, here's my breakfast! 2 eggs scrambled up and topped with sugar free ketchup. I had about 7mins to make and eat breakfast before leaving to work, so this happened.
The week before sharkweek I'm INSATIABLE and eat all the things. But during, I don't really have an appetite - all I can feel is pain. But, intuitive eating is all about listening to what your body is craving, not your mind. I'm sure my appetite will be back in a few days! So bare with me and my lackluster posts 😂😉🦈
Day two of my new 2 day split. Today was back and legs: Wide grip pull ups, trap bar deadlifts, barbell front squats, barbell hip thrusts, upper back machine fly's and machine leg curls. Tough to get done in an hour and get a good stretch in at the end 😓
The true definition of health is one that encompasses aspects of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Health isn't just about exercising and counting calories all the time. It's about enjoying the process of growth in every aspect. Do I eat a lot of pizza, sushi, and French fries? Hell yeah. Do I go out for drinks with my friends? Of course I do. Am I always down to lose some sleep over a late night adventure? Absolutely. They key is to do everything in moderation. Because what's the point of building your physical health and body if you can't enjoy everything else life has to offer you? Live a little, but stay focused and remember health isn't only about how much you sweat in the gym, how much water you drink, or how many vegetables you have in a day. It's about building and living the fullest life for yourself.

Make these now!!! Complete Rice Krispie Treats
2/3 cup organic nut butter, melted 2/3 cup honey or maple syrup. Mix the 2 together. Add in 1 cup JUICE PLUS complete protein powder, and fold in 3 cups organic rice cereal. Press into a square cake pan, and cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour. ENJOY!!

Another day of #intermittantfasting means no "breakfast" for me until at least noon. This is baby's #brekkie :) and my #coffee . These days I stop eating at around 7:00 p.m. (sometimes earlier), and don't eat my first meal of the day until about 1 or 2:00 p.m. I measured myself this morning and the inches are falling off like crazy. This lifestyle (to me) is effortless. I am never hungry #fatadapted and actually have to struggle to get my #protein and #fats in...not that I am strictly counting #macros or anything lol 🙄 My brain feels clear and my head less foggy too. I love this #woe .
I came upon this #tag and figured it's a positive one to start my #humpday . As of today my NSVs...
1. I am able to be more active! Since keto I've walked a 5k, went on a pettle boat, done activities that I would have stayed away from and have defiantly been more active with my son.
2. I finally got the all clear from my specialists to get pregnant. When I started keto that was my main goal! Completed..... now on to the fun part!
3. I'm starting to feel more confident in my everyday life.
4. I'm participating more in photos with my family. For so many years I would only do selfies or from the chest up. I've missed out on being included in so many photos but not anymore.
5. I've gained a whole community on IG who stands behind me, supports me and may (or may not) find me mildly interesting. Bonus, it has nothing to do with being a mom..... it's just for me and about me.

Had the best trip to the east coast! Lots of time with family and friends 🙂 Headed back west today and feeling positive about getting back into the swing of things. Make this yummy treat in minutes with #juicepluscomplete
1 scoop Complete by Juice Plus+ Dutch Chocolate (Shake Mix)
¾ cup milk
15g or 2 T Chia seeds
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 vanilla pod or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tablespoon yogurt and berries for decorating
Mix everything, fill in sealable glass and set overnight in the fridge.
Garnish with berries and coconut whipped cream or yogurt!

This yummy Blackberry smoothie has a secret ingredient!!🙀 Ingredients
1 cup cold water
3 medjool dates, pitted
3/4 cup frozen blackberries
1 frozen banana, chopped
1 tablespoon raw almond butter
1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract
3/4 cup frozen cauliflower
1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
3/4 cup ice
1 scoop or packet Vanilla Juice Plus Complete
In a high speed blender (such as a Vitamix), add the ingredients in the order listed above. Process on high speed until smooth and creamy. Serve cold.

I love Brussels sprouts!!!!! Recently I had some amazing ones in Baltimore and I wanted to recreate them at home. These Maple Sriracha Brussels Sprouts are the perfect mix of sweet and spicy!!! Ingredients
1 pound of brussels sprouts (about 20 sprouts)
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon Sriracha
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with tinfoil and spray it with a little bit of olive oil spray (or other cooking spray you have on hand) then set it aside.
Chop all of your brussels sprouts in half and put them in a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl combine your maple syrup and sriracha and whisk them together well. Pour this mixture over your brussels sprouts and toss thoroughly to coat.
Pour out your sprouts onto your lined baking sheet and spread them out evenly. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until your sprouts are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Serve and enjoy!

Many teachers I know have these in their classrooms providing fresh fruits and veggies for their students and themselves!! Teachers? Parents?? Late breakfast because I'm giving Intermittant Fasting 16:8 a new try. I felt really good doing it the last time but it didn't fit my busy work schedule. I want to try it for a month now to see if I can get the results IF promises.
