Squats and presses and power cleans and pizza. It's been almost five months and I still can't feel the depth of my squats so I have to video tape. Weds I had to eat salad. But today I earned my pizza. Barely earned but earned. 
Also failed the press, but not for lack of trying, and got through my cleans without smashing my collar bone, so all in all, a good workout. And a tasty pizza. And then another tasty pizza showed up at the bar after my show! Lucky me. 🍕

💣 PERCHÉ LA BILANCIA PUÒ MENTIRE? 💣
Oggi vi voglio parlare di un argomento che fin troppo spesso porta a scoraggiarsi troppo in fretta determinando così un fallimento nella perdita di peso.

Una semplice spiegazione del “Whooshing Effect” durante il digiuno intermittente. 
La dieta ipocalorica ed in particolare il digiuno intermittente, fa bruciare il grasso (lipolisi) all’interno delle cellule grasse (adipociti). Man mano che gli adipociti si svuotano di grasso, il loro volume viene “rimpiazzato” da acqua e quindi la perdita di peso nella bilancia può improvvisamente arrestarsi! 
Gli adipociti che si sono riempiti di acqua di “rimpiazzo”, sono “Testardi” e possono rimanere in attesa che si formi nuovo grasso anche per “parecchi giorni”! Una volta che, proseguendo in modo corretto il digiuno intermittente con un annesso deficit calorico, gli adipociti realizzano che non arriverà più grasso a sostituire l’acqua di rimpiazzo, lasceranno fuoriuscire l’acqua, il volume dell’adipocita crolla e finalmente la bilancia registrerà di nuovo un calo di peso!

Quindi unica regola chiave 🗝 resistenza!
Gli adipociti se pieni di grasso son belli duri 🎈 man mano che il grasso viene eliminato, il rimpiazzo di acqua potrà farvi sembrare più morbidi come dei peluche 🐻 ma dovete resistere altrimenti sarà sempre e solo un circolo vizioso che tornerà a riempire i vostri adipociti.

Il digiuno intermittente al contrario di tutte le altre diete é fenomenale perché consente lo switch dal passare a bruciare glucosio a bruciare grassi e chetoni.

Per questo potrebbe verificarsi un aumento sulla bilancia. Perseverate e vedrete che bei risultati 👊😎 Stay strong.

Dinge, die ich gut kann. Essen, schlafen, pöbeln und scheiße gucken. 🤔 Heute ist wieder didlift day und morgen wird Training vorgezogen, weils am Montag wieder zum tattoowieren geht. In letzter Zeit musste ich oft daran denken, wie viele Jahre ich einfach verschwendet habe. Also, aufs Training bezogen. Jahre, in denen ich einfach komplett nur absolut scheiße trainiert habe. In denen ich null auf progression trainiert habe oder einfach viel zu wenig gegessen habe, um stärker zu werden. Letztendlich hab ich dann irgendwie von acht Jahren krafttraining mindestens drei Viertel davon nur scheiße gemacht. 😂 Trotzdem immernoch besser, als in diesen acht Jahren gar nichts zu tun. Fällt mir halt jetzt auf, seit ich endlich einen richtig durchdachten Plan habe. 😅Das schlimme ist, bei mir selbst bin ich null objektiv. Bei anderen kann ich das super Bauteilen aber bei mir.. Absolutely not. 😂 😂 😂 Hand aufs Herz, gebts zu, ich bin nicht die einzige die früher einfach scam zusammentrainiert hat? Kommt schon.. My curiosity with fasting started a few years ago. When I stayed at #gwingannalifestyleretreat the nutritionist who is >50yrs old, looked like he was 25. When I asked him what does he believe makes the biggest difference to the way he feels/looks. He said 'meditation' and 'intermittent fasting.' ✔️ When I was diagnosed with Post Natal Depression, my psychiatrist also talked to me about 'intermittent fasting' ✔️ that it promotes autophagy, the cellular self-cleansing process that breaks down and recycles damaged cells. When I started my passion for GUT health I researched that 'intermittent fasting' can lengthen telomeres (anti aging, and improve longevity of our brains) ✔️. These are the 3 reasons I practice intermittent fasting. Some people do it for calorie restriction, which is great. My intrinsic motivation for fasting is for brain health, to decrease inflammation and it gives me greater clarity and focus. I fast a few times a week for a 16 hour period and have an 8 hour feeding period. For example last meal at 8pm and first meal at 12pm the next day. Anything besides from water breaks the fast. Once I began intermittent fasting, the energy I experienced on the days I fast, is out of this world. I hope you find the same for you. PE ✨ right now I'm doing a course to become kind of a PE teacher so I can teach basketball or soccer or swimming to kids....I won't be an actual teacher though so I won't teach in schools! It's super interesting what we learn about sports and how to teach movements etc...but I'm also super tired cause we try out these movements everyday for about 6 hours and by the end of the day all I can do is sit in my bed and watch Full House 🏡

🐹Please let me preface this post by saying that the protein sources I mention below that are "meh" are NOT bad for you. I am merely saying that if you are trying to lose fat and watching your calorie intake, there are better choices than others. Now with that said....Let's get into it☺️

👹The below examples show the protein per 100 calories of the given foods. This protein to calorie ratio is what I have used to deem if a food is "great" or "meh". By all means, include any source you wish to get your daily protein in. However, if you are in a weight loss phase you may wish to choose an option that will be more favourable to your goals.

👽Last note to mention, and that is, none of these foods have magical powers that will help you melt fat. The number one rule to losing fat will always be, to remain in a calorie deficit. If you can make any of the "meh" options fit your daily intake, then don't let me, or anyone, tell you that you can't have them!

2 tbs  unsweeten  almond milk
1  ts sodium bicabonate
1 ts  xanthan gum
50 gram avocado or 1 medium ripped avocado
1 tbs special dark cacao hersey
2  ts vanilla essence
1 tbs  stevia
15 g semi sweet choc chips 
1 pinch of salt

Ice cream
1 cup of non fat greek yogurt
1 ts vanilla
1 ts pumpkin spice
2-3 drop stevia

Using some of the ingredients from a couple nights ago this one is a lamb loin crusted in pistachios over cauliflower purée with charred broccoli florets and a carrot soufflé. Finished off with a little red wine reduction. If anyone wants to learn how to make amazing meals or is in need of a chef look no further I'd be glad to help!
