Beautiful? Not beautiful? I don't know how these look to you. But, I was was kinda smitten with them. They've literally blossomed at the end of this old birch log I have in the garden. New life, at the end of old life. Mother Nature, you are magnificent. #nature#summer#intothegarden#myenchantedsummer
My two cats turned 7 today. They are officially seniors. We bought them this mini house to play in but they were more interested in the dirt and ants outside. We should have known better. So instead, I decorated it for an Instagram photo, as you do. Have you ever wanted to shrink yourself down to fit in a mini house? #whpmini#thesincerestoryteller#littlestoriesofmylife#bloomandgrowtogether
Just a simple picture to kick off the weekend. We are headed to the #clevelandflea Saturday and I'll have this antique fence (gate) and concrete lions with me, along with lots more items.
What are your plans for the weekend? If you are local come visit me in booth 100+101. I'll try to share stories for those of you who can't be there again. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. What do you all have planned?
We have something HUGE in store for Monday for #earthinspiredhome by the way. Follow @graceindesign @bellafloradesign and myself @valerietylercollection to find out what it is. Also check out our guest this week @hoppshouse and share your own photos to join in!
My last writing spot for this leg of the book writing journey! 47,339 words later and it's off to the editor before we put the proposal to the publisher in waiting in California. The thing you gotta know is that English was the subject I got the lowest mark at in High school and the first time I wrote an article as an adult, I was told it was "too wordy!" So if this gets some readers, you gotta know, it must be God. #Jesusismycowriter#intothegarden
A forest in a tree. Back to Day 2 of #growingavision2017 Perspective. The cedars in the garden are tall -about a story high, with a wide girth. To get a different perspective, I tried the same thing as I did with the JapaneseMaple, I pushed my camera through the branches, and into the heart of the tree. Inside, I found what felt like a whole forest in a tree. An enchanted forest, no?
