What makes a great lifter? Well for one understanding you can't go heavy every session ! and that sometimes you need to just work on moving the weight better / more Efficiently to get better !
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ @murrayyy understands how important it is and hit this 177lb / 80kg squat session for 10 sets of 2reps ! #FAST#PRCOMINGSOON#TEAMATP#ATP#bw140lbs ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
Almost done this high frequency, high volume training block of death. 💀
I've been Deadlifting every 48 hours for 4 weeks straight and I'm excited to finally Deload, then transition into a Strength Block.
"A leg press video? This is a new low for Harry Glass, I'm unfollowing."
Honestly I wouldn't even blame you. I still can't squat without pain and as soon as I start to stack weight in the leg press I also come across pain.
@StanEfferding recently spoke about a time when he had a hip injury and how he would load up a leg press with bands so that the weight loosens off in the hole where the hip is impinged and then multiplies as you press.
10/10 would recommend even if you don't have hip issues.

Well gravity was a b**tard today. RPE on everything was roughly “well that felt fu**ing heavy.” Highlights were pin squats for 5’s at 165kg. Front squats for 5 at 125kg.
✅Do yourself a favor this evening!
👀Take a few minutes and look at your current training plan. Everything you do in the gym, on the pitch or wherever.
🔬For every element ask yourself the question:
❓“What is the goal of this element?”
❓“What is the adaptation I wish to achieve here?”
❓“Does this achieve the desired adaptation effectively?”
You would be surprised how much people do mindlessly.
🙈I hate to see people working really hard and killing themselves without making progress, due to the simple reason they are not applying the principles of training in an effective manner.
You train to force and adaptation. You do this by applying the correct principle with a purpose and intent.
P.S. If you’re a powerlifter or a GAA player and do curls simply because you want bigger arms, that’s fine. Just once you have a clear rationale for why you’re doing it!💪🏻

ok obviously this shit is fake as hell😁 I made this on after effects in an hour at @nitrotrainme the other day --The reason you see two of me in the mirror is bc jose finished his set before I started mine, but I wanted them in there together so I split the screens and was too lazy to mask out my twin. (like I said, one hour)
--had i spent more time I'd have matched what a 5plate whip would be on that bar and the plate rotations n what nots. Motion tracking could've been better but that's more bc the slowish shutter speed I chose- Laziness calls for some motion blur.😏 stay tuned for more
Hit EZ 4s @ 227.5kg on squats, but my camera fell over, so it basically didn’t happen, some 7s @ 182.5kg followed. EZPZ 4s @ 125kg on bench, which felt better as they went along; shoulder/trap is feeling better by the day, so let’s hope it feels good for some last singles and 5s tomorrow. Then some singles on deadlifts, up to around a last warm up @ 300kg.
Maria Htee putting in work with 385 lbs (175 kg)!! Hit a single (shoulda been a double but second guessed it without a spotter) then hit a double!

@Regranned from @maria_htee - I Was suppose to do 385x2 but only did it x1 so I got a spotter and got it done.
Low Bar Squat second waves!
385x1(pussy out without spotter)
7 weeks out from NorCal Strongest. First strongman competition. This is something I’ve wanted to do for the longest time even before powerlifting. Just never had access to implements till recently.
Since I have little time I’m just gonna get as much practice with the implements/events as I can. I also need to improve my overhead strength as much as I can and also work on my conditioning.
Zercher yolk carry
5x1 @ empty yolk
(Go as far as I can in 10 seconds)
These totally wrecked my biceps lol.
5x1 @ 4 plates total
(Back and forth)
Will be increasing a set per week and adding weight gradually, same goes for the Zercher Carry.
Keg to low blocks
4x3 @ unknown weight
Plan is to add sets and increase height of blocks gradually in the upcoming weeks.
Man my biceps are toast after today lol. Weights for the events aren’t posted yet sow I will start light and gradually increase weight.
Main goal is to build work capacity for the events and get as used to them as I can in the next 3 weeks. The last 3 to 4 weeks I will really push the intensity. But for now it’s simply learning how to be strong and move fast at the same time.
