Hockey and the gym are keeping me sane these days. I've been channelling my heartbreak into getting fitter, improving my strength and losing some weight. Realistically nobody is going to be motivated 24/7 and that is the truth. It can be high and then it can be low. We are all human. I can lack in these things just like anyone else. Tough days or months can happen: It can be for a number of reasons that prevent us from training at our desired level.

However if you are lacking motivation, you need to realise our environment may not always be right to train at 100% whether it may injury, stress or lack of time. It's how you deal with the setbacks is key. The way we get back on track and overcome the blips can make the difference in you achieving your goals or not.โ €

So if you are not 100% motivated at some point, realise that majority of people go through the same feelings. Just do your best to get back on it and keep the momentum going. You do not want to undo all the hard work you done so far.  Even if it is a bit slower that before, don't stress.  Just show up and get work done! ๐Ÿ’ช

The beauty of videoing something to learn from - max effort on a 100m row earlier - 15.9s just .1 from my personal best of 15.8 - the chain moves a lot (49s/m also) I think it was too fast paced and should aim to slow down to achieve more power through less strokes - either way always improving - went on to beat my 500m PB a few mins after this by a couple of seconds :) Some of my faves on the later strokes ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ˜‚

Let me tell you that each and every day is a chance to better yourself. If you are uncomfortable where you are, then you have the ability to change. Nobody is going to save you. You have to decide what you want to do and make that happen. I have been stuck in a rut numerous times over the years but I figured out what I wanted and worked on changing the situation. Itโ€™s not easy but the main thing for me is being happy on a daily basis.  Everything else in life will fall into place. I do a lot of motivational posts to inspire YOU! Donโ€™t float through life and let 10 years pass and still be in the same situation. Do the work when nobodyโ€™s watching and you will reap the rewards ๐Ÿ‘Š

As you can see I have returned to work so I'm not posting as often as last week ๐Ÿ˜‚ today I ate a great breakfast and then no lunch... So not very good but made a fancastic Thai green curry ๐Ÿฅ˜ โ˜บ my husband is taken the left overs for lunch tomorrow n all. The plan was to make a veggie cottage pie with sweet potato mash....but I came home from spin class and fancied something a little different. 
So I whipped up homemade sweet potato fries with @thegymchef Cajun spices.
I then made lentils with stock, chopped tomatoes, puree, mixed herbs, red onion and a drop of soy sauce.
There was avocados about to go off so made guacamole.
Then added rocket for some greens.

Transformation Tuesday. As I get ready for my holiday to Cambodia I must remember to not let my new way of life to dissappear. I need to be able to enjoy myself without going crazy with food like I used to in the past. Any break to my routine would be an excuse for me to eat crap! But now I will balance the good with the bad. All I have to do is look at this picture and know nothing is worth going back to how I used to feel and live!
