So went for the 190kg today. Even though I got it I have lots to work on, this is the benefits of recording your lifts!! Film yourself from behind a set of you doing squats. Note: this should be a hard and heavy work set. Weight amplifies issues and you may not catch a problem on warm-up set. If you donโ€™t have an issue, just repeat this test every month as you are getting stronger to make sure you are still on track. If a problem is identified then you can address it and fix it before you continue to pile on the weight and cause yourself an injury. Time to dress back myself and fix my hip shifts. More mobility, planks, leg raises and deadlifts for me ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Can you lose weight just from your stomach!? Working in a commercial gym, I get asked a lot about ab exercises that will slim and make lose weight in the stomach area only. This is called โ€œspot reductionโ€ and even though it might sound simple, is not possible. 
Giving lots of ab exercises for an individual looking to lose weight in their stomach will probably work their  core muscles and make it tight but it won't make him/her lose fat or weight. I'm not saying that you shouldn't do core work, I'm saying that if the goal is to reduce body fat/ weight loss in the stomach area, you would have to prioritise the large muscles, compound movements and a well balanced diet. Don't be that guy/girl doing lots of crunches hoping it will be enough to slim down your stomach. Do the work and results will come๐Ÿ‘

Blues BootCamp 
My circuit training camp is an excellent way to improve strength, stamina and mobility. The circuit comprises of 15 to 20 strength exercises that are completed one exercise after another. Each exercise is performed for a specified number of repetitions before moving on to the next exercise. The exercises within each circuit are separated by a short rest period, and each circuit is separated by a longer rest period. The total number of circuits performed during a training session may vary depending on your training level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced), or a specific training objective.

We finish off this easy session ๐Ÿ˜œ with 3 sets of sled pulls/pushes and finally Abs and Core.

Blues BootCamp My circuit training camp is an excellent way to improve strength, stamina and mobility. The circuit comprises of 15 to 20 strength exercises that are completed one exercise after another. Each exercise is performed for a specified number of repetitions before moving on to the next exercise. The exercises within each circuit are separated by a short rest period, and each circuit is separated by a longer rest period. The total number of circuits performed during a training session may vary depending on your training level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced), or a specific training objective. We finish off this easy session ๐Ÿ˜œ with 3 sets of sled pulls/pushes and finally Abs and Core. Today was testing out where I am with squats. The answer is that I felt the strain with sets of 5 @ 60% of last year's max. Part of that is strength but I am also just rusty on technique and not used to the heavy weights. But sure look, means I get a longer run up at hitting a new max
