Definitely not where I want to be, but happy with how far I have come
I can't thank @ryan_givs enough for all the help with the content. He has always been extremely supportive of everything I have done, and I appreciate all the help along the way!
Best way to end a Friday night.... training some arms in an empty gym😈 @themusclefactorytx

The iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that your God or a P.O.S. The iron will always kick you the real deal. The iron is the great reference point, the all knowing perspective giver, always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But 200lb will always be 200lb 💪🏽🏋🏽👌🏽
🔜🔜🔜 8 DAYS OUT 🔜🔜🔜
8 days until I step on stage and 4 days until I hop on a plane to Bali 😍
Im definitely feeling the prep feels, but buzzing I'm representing Australia 🇦🇺
Depleting my body of carbs until the night before the show! By doing this, all the glycogen will go straight to my muscles and give me a much more of a fuller look.
Lately I’ve been having the most positive frequencies around me. When I wake up and think happiness, most of my days are full of happiness and the rest of my day is set to that mood. Of course there’s times when the negative gets to you, but you just have to be mentally stronger than the negative bs. Then there’s law of attraction or the law of creation. Basically life is happening to you and you are creating it. So just think positive because again, positive vibes outweigh the negative and you’re the only one in control of your life! 💭
After a draining day, I thought I deserved some comfort food. I still have goals 2 hit (8 pack goals), so I decided 2 do a lil experimenting with this lasagna 2 make it a lil more #nutritious Honest results: you could def tell the difference if you had some real good authentic Italian. I typically make it with that spicy Italian sausage& so much cheese it would prob stop your heart. I made due with seasoned ground turkey, lots of sauce, & wayyyyyyy less cheese! It was still #yumyum th🤓
Got to love the feeling of getting stronger 💪🏻
My strongest lift. I always feel like I will plateau eventually, but the numbers just keep going up. The whole day I was thinking about how much reps I could get and I was thinking 3. I was hoping for 3 and ended up getting 4. I am surprised with my strength. I am hoping for 525 (3x my body weight). Next week is max week 👍🏻 wish my luck.
The picture to your right had me absolutely livid. As an adopted individual I understand how hard it is to find your place. Growing up I was either not black enough not white enough for anything.
While picking me up in Mobile Alabama my parents were kicked out of their hotel for having a black baby. Fast forward to trying to find a suitable place to raise me in Maine they were told to go elsewhere multiple times. .
To say somebody like @kaepernick7 “Isn’t allowed” to feel or speak on feeling oppressed by society because he has white parents and is half white, is apparently beyond the most simplistic comprehension of the human brain. (AKA YOU DUMB MUTHAFUCKAS NEED TO USE YOUR HEAD) .
My parents dealt with racism from the Urban South to Rural White Maine. To say someone like Kaepernick parents did not feel in the entirety of raising their son “racism” is blasphemy! .
WAKE THE FUCK UP! THIS SHIT IS REALLY HAPPENING!

#FLEXFRIDAY#TRUTH 💯💯 I have had people write in my comments on social media in the past throwing hate about my physique that's it's disgusting, too much, not attractive, gross etc it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to me. Their ignorance is sad not on my behalf but theirs but it comes with the territory. I don't train for anyone's liking I train for my own and so should you. I'm in the gym atleast 6 days a week sometimes twice a day these couch potatoes and nonlifters that hate have absolutely NO IDEA HOW HARD I WORK. While they are out partying I'm in THE GYM, while they are out getting drunk and high I'm in THE GYM. WHILE THEY ARE EATING CRAP FOOD AT 3 or 4 am IM IN THE GYM. Anyone can be average anyone can talk trash but not everyone can be a beast !! Some people admire my body some people don't and that's cool Il still wake up everyday hungry and work my hardest for those that can't even walk and are paralyzed. Remember to NEVER do what you do for SOMEONE'S Liking but for your own bump what people think !! And keep training hard !!! PERIOD. #Fitfam#Fitness#Bodybuilding#Bodybuildingmotivation#Bodybuilder#Gymrats#Flex#Fitnessinspiration#FitnessMotivation#traininsaneorremainethesame#Trainhard#Workhard#Gymlife#Ironaddicts#Ironparadise#Alwayshungry#Neverfull#hardestworkersintheroom
Long post but worth the read. Dug up some old footage for #FBF and my progression. Sorry for all the videos but I couldn’t edit them into one whole reel. First 3 videos shown are from July 5 2016. First attempt was 405. Second video is 365 and the third video is 315. Fourth video is 385 from July 17 2016. Fifth video is from July 26 2016 with another 405 attempt couldn’t even move it. Sixth is 405 again in August 11 2016. The seventh video is August 29th 2016 to the very first time I pulled 405. The sixth is from January 19 this year and the last video is a 500 pull on a stiff bar from February 7th this year at @ironaddictsgym during #workoutwednesday Now there’s a couple things to keep in mind here. All of these were done on a stiff bar, my body weight was lighter, around 15-20 lbs lighter, strength was significantly less and my form/ technique was wayyy different. Deadlifts were always my favorite and is definitely my shit. But if you were to take anything from this post I would like it to be the fact that nothing comes easy, and anything you want in this life is going to take time, dedication, commitment and sacrifice. But if it’s something you really want you will get there, it’s not a matter of “if” but “when” and in this sport it’s a marathon not a race. Don’t burnout early is something I always remind myself of. Yea it can be frustrating at times but if you stick with it and have a goal in mind you most definitely will achieve it. “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time” -Thomas Edison
I would not have gotten here without help though, I’ve been very fortunate to have tremendous support along the way that I’m very grateful for. My brother @buloajp for his coaching and guidance along the way and helping me into my first meet and everything since, who’s also been a great role model to me and a mentor in life. My bros @savage_the_barber and @the_fit_tatted_indian for always pushing me in and out of the gym never skipping a workout and the brotherhood we’ve developed along the way. I have to cut it short cause I’m out of room but I hope this can help someone struggling with motivation 🤙🏻
