It's cold as fuck out here. This ain't preferable for a Cali boy. It is beautiful out here though and nice and toasty inside my grandparents house. I'mma reveal the way I've been eating now. I haven't stuck to it entirely but generally I stick to liquids until around 2pm (water, coconut water, juice), fruit during the afternoon and the heavier foods for dinner in the evening around 6 or 7 (greens & the fruits commonly mistaken for veggies like avocados and zucchinis). I'm not paying attention to calories anymore and during my fruit eating period I kinda just eat how I feel. I'll wait at least an hour if I'm eating different fruit throughout the afternoon so I don't end up with any digestive problems. So the idea is that I'm basically eating (and drinking) foods simple for digestion to make it easier for my body to cleanse up until dinner which is the more building foods (fats and proteins). I'm gunna try this for a while and see how I feel. Do we need proteins from greens and fats from nuts, seeds and avocados or can we go all fruit? I don't know. I intend to expirement and figure out which is best at least for my composition. Everyone else should do the same. Have many teachers. Don't just get stuck with one method. Determine what is best for you based on your own experience not someone elses. I've taken in information from several successful Raw Vegans/Fruitarians and it keeps me from being stuck in a narrow mentality. It should just be simple though. Why are we so confused about what we're supposed to eat? I think it's because we're out of touch with our bodies. We're caught up in our minds. I'm new to this shit, so I still got plenty mistakes to make and lessons to learn. I get questions all the time about how to clear the skin. Most people ask me, what herb can I take. There is no herb that is going to miraculously clear your skin while you are still consuming junk. The first rule, is to go completely alkaline vegan and take lots of Irish Sea Moss, I take around 7 size 0 capsules a day. ....Repost from @mosi_shabaka using @RepostRegramApp - Your body will give you warning signs ⚠️ if something isn’t right within, one of them signs is unhealthy skin/acne, If your organs like the colon and kidneys are blocked because they're full of starches, drugs and meat your body will try to release the toxins through your body’s biggest organ the SKIN and for the ladies the worst thing you can do is band aid it with make up which has even more chemicals and blocks the pores and stop the toxins from releasing. You must start by fixing your diet and giving your body the nutrition it needs and start the cleansing from the inside out.
It's persimmon season… have you tried one yet… here at some benefits of this fall fruit. ⬇⬇⬇
Persimmons contain health benefiting flavonoid polyphenolic antioxidants such as catechins and gallocatechin in addition to having an important anti-tumor compound, betulinic acid. Catechins found to have anti-infective, anti-inflammatory and anti-hemorrhagic (prevents bleeding from small blood vessels) properties.
Some of other antioxidant compounds found abundantly in this fruit are vitamin-A, β-carotene, lycopene, lutein, zeaxanthin and cryptoxanthin. Together, these compounds work as protective scavengers against oxygen-derived free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS) that play a role in aging and various disease processes.
Zeaxanthin, an important dietary carotenoid, is selectively absorbed into the retinal macula lutea in the eyes where it thought to provide antioxidant and protective light-filtering functions. It, thus, helps prevent "Age-related macular related macular disease"(ARMD) in the elderly.
Persimmons are also a very good source of vitamin-C, another powerful antioxidant (especially native Chinese and American persimmons; provide 80% of DRI). Regular consumption of foods rich in vitamin-C helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge harmful, pro-inflammatory free radicals.
Getting out in nature is just as important for healing.
The rhythms and the sounds of connectivity bring us to the present moment.
The sun rays nourish and radiate our skin.
And the smells, oh the smell of nature alone can provide you with a sense of wholeness.
When I was in school, there was a class that broke down various types of diets. From Pritikin, Atkin, SAD (Standard American Diet), all of the 'Vegetarian' diets (pescatarian, lacto, ovo), Vegan, Fruitarian and even Breatharian Diets. I remember the teacher pretty much poking fun at the Fruitarian community. Saying that some would not even eat the fruit that was still on the tree, but would wait until the fruit had fallen because they didn't want to harm the tree. I call that a certain level of consciousness that most of us ain't ready for.
This sounded extreme to me, but at one time in my life, veganism seemed kinda far fetched. The difference is that I always try to find understanding in things that may seem foreign to me. Just because is it not my norm, doesn't mean it's "extreme" at all.
That night I went home and Youtubed 'fruitarians'. A few hours later I found myself wanting to move to Thailand and Costa Rica to try all the got darn delicious fruits I had never seen/even heard of! I witnessed MANY stories of people who healed themselves rather quickly eating nothing but fruits alone. Not only did they find physical wealth, but their minds were healthy and clear. They spoke with so much love and light. They lived simple, non-material lives.
That's when my interest in the rawfood world spearked. And to be honest, I prefer to say I eat "naturally", because that's really what it is. Raw get mistaken for cold or uncooked. But truthfully, Raw = Real = Natural = Unprocessed = Untampered =Unbothered.
The moral of this story is #fruitsarelife . And Dr. Aris Latham is #fruitarianbae 😂
