Photo credit @blackmagicalchemy Meshima/Mesima also has many names including the Latin name Phellinulinteus. It is also called the black hoof mushroom due to its hoof shape. This mushroom is found in Asian countries such as China, Japan, and Korea. It normally grows on a medium of mulberry trees. . 🍄 .
This medicinal mushroom has been found to have the ability to facilitate wound healing. Although the most distinct component of the Phellinus is its polysaccharide content. Its active components are reputed to have anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and cytotoxic properties. . .
The polysaccharide extract of the edible fruit of the Phellinus linteus has in studies been reputed to help inflammation and #arthritis . When tested after using this mushroom patient autoimmune conditions were considerably less. Similarly, the mushroom has been shown to be an effective anti-inflammatory agent especially in cases of septic shock that are caused by lipopolysaccharides. 🍄 .
If you have asthma, or hayfever this mushroom may also be for you. .
Many studies have shown that the polysaccharides of this mushroom have been really successful in treating immune imbalances and allergic reactions. The active parts of the Meshima have shown to be effective in suppressing Th2 cytokines and inducing secretion of Th1 cytokines which help to balance the immune system more. This may be why this mushroom is used for women who have undergone testing and elevated levels of Natural Killer cells and elevated cytokines . Trevor Wing TCM specialist at his London clinic uses this mushroom in his protocol for high NK levels and has had considerable success with this approach. He also uses this alongside Turkey Tail ( which we will look at next) .
“Frozen life “
According to a study by scientists, a delay in transferring embryos to the mother improves the success of in vitro fertilization in certain cases. Women undergoing IVF who have high levels of the hormone progesterone when their egg cells are retrieved benefit from having the resulting embryos frozen and transferred back to the uterus at a later date, the researchers found. The researchers speculated that freezing embryos and waiting to transfer them during a different cycle gives an opportunity for progesterone and other hormones to fall to levels more hospitable to implantation, although this idea was not directly tested. Fifty-two percent of the embryo transfers performed after embryos were frozen led to ongoing pregnancies, whereas 45.3 percent of fresh transfers led to ongoing pregnancies. Also for older women with high progesterone levels, the odds of pregnancy were 73 percent greater following transfer of previously frozen embryos.
Good Morning 💜🌟 We had another rough night with Violet last night, the sleep training is still going well but that doesn't keep her asleep all night, she downed two full bottles of milk in the night last night (which she shouldn't at her age), we think it could be a habit now. Once the sleep training is sorted, there is another challenge for us. Night feed weaning. There is always something! One battle at a time! She seems to sleep better when she has had a busy day, so even though its rainy today I'm determined to get her out to the softplay to let off some steam! Picture is from baby group on Monday with her bestie Liv, if only they could play together every day! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Alex and I are so excited to introduce you to our daughter Emilia Clare Lemmer. She was born at 7:04 Am on 1/23/18 (her due date) at 6 lb 14 oz and 20 in.
Emmie's birth was in typical Suz fashion -> getting it done with a few cards thrown in there, but overall it went very smoothly and i will have her birth story up soon! I am sitting in our hospital room right now listening to her breathe (still workiing through some boogers) and just in amazement of what the past year has brought us.
Thank you to each and EVERY one of you who has been a part of our journey through life via the blog, social media, and in real life. Thank you for the love and support, the encouragement, curiosity, and real talk. We, I, couldn't have done it without you and the reminder to keep our eyes on the various goal posts.
To our families, there just are never the right words. But I will try to find some of them by the time you arrive!
For now, though, I'm going to go sit on an ice pack (glorious) and order food (ps the chocolate chip cookies here are SO GOOD). Xoxo
I'm about to have a great night sleep thanks to these 2<<<>>>😭 I have to admit I'm a tad on edge still from waking up to a shaking bed last night😨 #alaskalife

All three “kids” all in a row 😍 These two pups have been so great with their new baby brother and it makes my heart so happy to see them all together. The pups’ lives have been turned completely upside down with little Jack’s arrival but instead of being jealous, they just love him so much! I can’t wait to see them all grow up together. #IVFSuccess

5 days in 5 days out. I've been waiting for a long time to take this picture. They each have their own little personalities. I can't wait until I recover more from this C-section so I can really get to helping and enjoying them more. #ivfsuccess#twinmom#csection#FET

The definition of Precision health by the Stanford University School of Medicine - “Imagine a system where doctors can quickly comb through millions of anonymized patient records to find people with conditions and medical experiences just like yours. Through this massive, searchable database, doctors could determine how best to treat you, based on what has worked effectively for others with similar symptoms and characteristics.” #ivfjourney#ivf#ivfsuccess#fertility#infertility
Part 2: While I kept hoping for my natural BFP, time went on and I turned 40 a few months ago. With that age, a quiet panic set in. I knew for certain that it was now crunch time and that I needed to seriously focus on my fertility. While I was in Africa 3 months ago (I am originally from there), Concerned family members recommended I see a reputed fertility specialist who sent me for HSG and hormone tests. The results were devastating but explained why I never got pregnant: my good tube had been rendered useless by an inflammation and the other tube remained blocked. I also found out that I had a low AMH of .3 (never heard of AMH before) and high FSH of 13.8. I went from great numbers and “your reproductive system is perfect” 3 years ago to “this is not good” and “your fertility is seriously diminished”. The Dr gave me a doomsday diagnosis that made me feel like the ground had just fallen off. I was devastated at the thought of not being able to have children, which is what he implied. I litterally sunk into a dark hole for 2 months. Until I joined facebook fertility groups and realized there still is hope for me. Research led me to CNY @cnyfertility . God, how I wish I had known about CNY sooner. But I have to trust that God’s timing for this is best. I have a consult scheduled with Dr Kiltz in 2 weeks. I am anxious but eager to go through IVF and birth my long desired Baby Badji. Badji is my husband’s last name😃. We are both 40 and Baby Badji will be our first child. I am claiming it. I look forward to meeting the amazing women of this wonderful TTC community and journeying with them! #ttc#ttccommunity#ivf#ivfjourney#ivfsisterhood#ivfsupport#ivfsuccess#cny#ivfover40#babybadji#lowamh#highfsh#plussizettc#overweight#ttcsisters

Because my baby is almost one I’ll just keep sharing random photos of her when she was only days old! The idea that I’m a mommy, her mommy, is still just as surreal as it’s always been. Even a year in I’m still just like “wow” she’s mine & my body made her & God picked us to be her parents. I pray often for all the couples still waiting for their baby. The pain of infertility doesn’t just disappear, I think it’s just always a part of us whispering in the background with reminders of the longing that made scars in our souls & on our hearts. The longing subsides & our child brings a joy greater than we’ve ever known, but the days spent on our knees with hot tears on our cheeks are still a part of us. And in some crazy way, that part of us intensifies the beauty of our blessing. I just hope if you are still waiting for your baby that you know God will answer your prayers & someday in God’s perfect timing, your arms & heart will be so very full! #godisgood#thankyougod#ivfsuccess#threedaysold#glorytogod
