JIM ADAMS ARTIST TALK DATE CHANGE
Join us at The Reach at 1:00pm on June 24th for a lively and entertaining discussion with the artist, Jim Adams. Adams will share anecdotes, ideas, and insight into his long and accomplished career and comment on works of art from both exhibitions at The Reach and the Surrey Art Gallery @surreyartgal .
The Irretrievable Moment is the most expansive exhibition of Jim Adams’ artwork shown to date. The two-part retrospective was developed in partnership with the Surrey Art Gallery and brings together over one hundred and twenty-five artworks by this White Rock artist.
The exhibition’s title refers to the pivotal moment when a critical transformation is about to take place or, in Adams’ words, “you have committed to the action but the action hasn’t actually happened yet.” The first half of the retrospective takes place at the Surrey Art Gallery from April 8- June 11, and includes early works by the artist that have not been exhibited in decades, alongside a substantial body of newer work that explores the artist’s interests in the history of modern art, aviation, and the changing physical and social landscape of his community.
Works of art presented at The Reach are drawn from the past three decades of Adams' career and are the culmination of the artist’s ongoing interest in deep time, the myths of civilization, and the realm of intergalactic possibility. | Photo by @sharonwhuget

Some of my Programming-Books, that i mostly like.
It included for example some extra programminginfos, that i don't found in other books.
And this Infos are not only useful for Role Playing Games, they are useful for example for Ego-Shooter too.
Info like for example:
-Load Level from a Mesh (3D Object) .
-Triggers (Check, if Player is in Area X)
-And much more
The book has 1020 Pages. Because i don't read much in books, i had read near every day 1-10 Pages.
After 5 Months of reading I've read the complete Book. ...Some big Destinations can also be reach with much small steps, 😉.
California native bay 🍃 while on a hike in Solstice Canyon this morning guided by Chumash healer Jim Adams. Although similar in appearance and name to the European bay laurel, Umbellularia californica has a stronger, more pungent aroma. It is used for headache, migraine and tooth pain relief by the native people.
Professor Jim Adams, the San Fernando Valley Chumash Healer, shared so many wonderful tips with us Friday night about the medicine ✨ of the plants from our local woodland. He co-authored Healing with Medicinal Plants of the West with the Chumash medicine woman Cecilia Garcia 🌿🍃🌱Thank you for the wine, acorn scones & hosting such a fabulous event dear Sharon and Tim 🍷
