I am going to post something (hopefully everyday) for the next week or so of things that I take for granted. I am all for being grateful for people, money, food and my home. But sometimes it takes a shift of the mindset to be grateful for things that you take for granted without realizing. .
Today, it is Johannesburg. I grew up here, then studied in Stellenbosch for 6 years. I loved Stellies and the Cape to bits. I was not happy to move back to the smog, smoke and hustle and bustle that I thought was Jo'burg. Sitting in my favourite spot in Parktown at work, just looking at the view and realizing that this city is actually amazing. I mean what city? All you see are trees. In fact this place is one of the biggest man made forests in the world. We have everything here. Beauty, nature, great weather, water, power (most of the time 😜) and wonderful people. I have made amazing friends in this place and I don't think I'll move away. Thank you for welcoming me back Jo'burg, thank you for looking out for me and now I appreciate you. #southafrica#johannesburg#view#mindfulnessmatters#appreciation#grateful#ilovejozi#home#thingsitakeforgranted#manmadeforest#wits
Took the challenge of a 10KG dumbbell this month and I owe my arms to it. Working with it, has added definition to my shoulders, back and abs because of the swinging motion. I do 3x reps of 5 minutes each. You need to tighten your core for full control.

This mural of Nelson Mandela boxing in his youth is a painting based on a famous photograph. It stretches for storeys above the street in a poorer and mostly Black area of Johannesburg. The power in seeing the man rise above the city can’t be described but my favourite thing was that below it on the street is an outdoor gym that includes punching bags where the locals can train in his shadow. The fight literally continues. #wowsouthafrica ✊🏾

It hasn't always been easy but it's always been worth it. To all the people that have walked through the corridors and passages, up and down the stairs, got stuck in the lifts 😂, answered crazy phone calls, missed deadlines and met them in frustration, clapped and shared in every victory... Here's to you and 130 years.
Happy birthday to the team that keeps striving for the best time and time again.
You are the true stars 🇿🇦🎉🎊🎆🏅💫💛 #TheStarNews#TheStar130#BirthdaySpecialEdition#anniversary#johannesburg#daily#newspaper
@rezebonna 💕💕 Inhabit your life.
It's the only time you'll visit this place in this form. Be so thankful for this experience and the body in which you have to complete this task of life in.
Be so grateful to God. He chose you for this mission. Be nice to the other beings who are doing the same. It's not easy. Don't make their journey harder than it needs to be. #CapeTown#Johannesburg#Actress#Model#MotivationalVoice
💡Did you know...💡
Microblading is done by hand and NOT machine?
Think of the action of drawing with a pen on paper, we use a hand-held pen-like tool which has an opening on the ends. The small hair lines, also known as strokes, are created by "drawing" it onto the skin.✍ No hair implantation, no scary machine noises!
