fun fact: the first time I visited Joshua Tree @albundyyy and I had to rent a U-Haul cargo van to drive around in 😝✨ I'll never forget when I first laid my eyes on that beautiful town and national park. Hooked from the beginning 🌿💕
Let’s start the gratitude early: what is one thing you are grateful for today?
Can you do this exercise everyday? Can you find one thing? Whether it’s the rise and fall of your chest (YAY! I’m alive!) or the loved ones that surround you, there is a-l-w-a-y-s a reason to thank the Universe/God/Goddess ✨ Direct your energy toward this over the holiday and watch how impactful it is on your mood, life and relationships. Love you all and SO grateful for each and every one of you.
A meeting was held in Joshua Tree to discuss what locals think of the increased entrance fees, and today is the last day to publicly comment on the matter. The public comments will help decide if the proposal would even make it on the ballot. If you love Joshua Tree or national parks as much as I do and if you would like to help keep public land for the people, please take the time to comment within the link in the article. Make your own proposal, talk about what national parks mean to you, mention how the tourist economy in Joshua Tree affects your own business, or create a big fat scene. Whatever's clever-- value a cause, back the things you stand for, and use your voice. ✨🕉
You must climb before you can enjoy the view.
I received an unexpected opportunity to climb a route in Joshua Tree this week. I was so excited and I didn’t even think twice. I jumped right on. It wasn’t until I was 3/4 of the way up, there was a slight overhang, and I had to hook my leg and hump a large rock to get to the top that I had thoughts of death as I was hanging off some cams (moving metal gear that was placed in the cracks to catch me if I fall). My mom would have “loved” that I was doing this.
Scampering over the rocks at Joshua Tree National Park is one of the coolest things to do with teens and tweens in an NP. And Skull Rock 💀 makes it all that more cool!! Do your teens and tweens still like exploring NPs? #trekarooing#findyourpark . #Repost @woman_in_travel ・・・
One of our favorite places to climb in Joshua Tree-Skull Rock. It was crowded and a bit like the Disneyland part of the park but still fun. #joshuatree @joshuatreenps #skullrock
Had a great time out in Joshua Tree last week with @stevebooker @lostfoundkeep @ariamark @isitrachelle ✌️ We went to a dope outdoor art installation called Noah Purifoy Outdoor Art Museum, met up with @isitrachelle who we met at the LTA Summit, then caught the sunset inside JT Park. Really love meeting new people and teaming up for adventures. Hope to see you all again soon!
This airstream = our home in the desert this past weekend in Yucca Valley. The property was owned by an Italian prince, filmmaker, photographer, musician and ex-husband to Olivia Wilde. NBD. Best AirBnb I ever stayed at. #joshuatree#yuccavalley
