Day # 2 of juicing for my health. Today was a good day. This is my second time trying to complete this journey. The first time I underestimated the power of the mind. I didn't prepare myself mentally for this journey. This time around I have something else motivating which changed everything for me. This time I am not doing it to quickly loose weight so that I could stop feeling bad about my baby weight. This time around it's for my health. After going to the doctor and hearing that it could take up to six months for me to fully recover after having viral meningitis . I am determined that It will not take that long. That was the kick I needed. I eased myself into juicing by juicing once a day and lowering my solid food intake for a few days. I began drinking more water and taking multi vitamins everyday. This time around I am focused on healing my body not losing weight. This time I know I will succeed. Are you juicing? Have any tips comment below⬇️. Delicious and nutritious afternoon pick-me-up: carrot, ginger, celery and apple juice made with the apples from my father-in-law’s trees. I chopped it all up with the peels still on and into the @vitamix it went. After it was pureed, I strained through a nut bag. As I prepare to lead thousands of people around the world in a 3-day juice fast with @karenkipp_juice_goddess I'm making the mellow morning green juice from our 7-day cleanse with @dailyom
2 oranges, peeled
1 English cucumber
1 cup (44g) firmly packed spinach
1 lemon, peeled
1/2 cup (20g) firmly packed mint, plus more to taste
Pinch of @celticseasalt
1 cup (240ml) filtered water
Push the ingredients through your juicer with the water. Tweak the mint to taste. Strain any pulp.
