For sale - Flat Head jeans burgundy corduroy pants. Size 34 (fits 32). A nice change of pace here from the Flat Head. These guys are rightfully regarded as one of the heads of the Japanese "American casual", denim-fixated scene that seems to be going strong these days. Although Flat Head gets a lot of attention for their jeans in particular, they've got a full range of products, all of them with the same crazy obsessive level of detail. Like most Flat Head pieces, these pants were construction in the old-school way, woven on vintage shuttle looms and produced in small batches. This gives the material much more depth and texture than what you usually see in a more standard corduroy. This is corduroy Flat Head style. Other details include a branded waistband button, zip fly, woven rear tab, and branded pockets in a heavy cotton canvas. Flat Head never cuts corners and of course their devotion shows through in the final products. Retail on these in Japan was about $260 if you could find them. Get them here in excellent shape and at a fraction of the retail. See link in bio for details.
For sale - Shuttle Notes / Journal Standard indigo dyed chambray shirt. Size M (fits slim). A nice collaboration piece here between the Journal Standard and Shuttle Notes labels. Journal Standard is a "select shop" operating out of Japan, the type of shop that stocks a number of other brands, as well as an extensive range of collaborations and their own house brand. Journal Standard has a pretty strong work aesthetic in their clothes, although they have almost no distribution outside of Japan. Shuttle Notes originally started as a fabric mill in Japan, and they consistently put out some really nice materials as you would expect. This is a summer weight chambray fabric shirt, with a number of work details incorporated, such as selvedge side gussets, chain stitch run off, double and triple needle construction, contrasting orange bobbin thread, and much more. These shirts were limited to Japan and are now completely sold out. Get it here in excellent shape and at a fraction of the retail. See link in bio for details.
