Our bodies don’t cope well with extremes of anything. Whether that’s an extreme diet or overeating, extreme exercise or sedentary lifestyle, extreme stress or not having any goals at all.
Optimum wellbeing is the symbiotic relationship between many different aspects and the key is to have them all in balance.
Achieving life balance is an ongoing process. Usually we’re better at taking care of our needs in some areas of our life, but in other areas there is room to reflect and improve.
What I like to do is rate these different aspects of my life on how fulfilled I feel in each field. The ones with lower ratings are therefore the ones that I need to work on improving at that point in time.
The aim of this exercise isn’t to make us feel like we need to be perfect at everything, but rather to create a life of balance and therefore wellbeing.
I know that the area I definitely need to work on just now is Rest & Sleep 😴🙈! Have you ever done something similar before?
