Well here’s a soon to be finished happy scrappy blanket, probably the last thing I’ll finish this year 🤞🏻! I love it! 💖🧡🖤💜💙💚💛❤️
Yarn: drops karisma: pattern: #cornertocornercrochet , hook: 7.0 mm.
Finally time came for the square designed by my IG friend- the very talented Johanna @ihan_oikea_blogi . Look at this powerful square, makes me think of the feminist sign (gender symbol for female often with raised fist in the circle) ✊🏻⭕️.
Yarn: Holst garn coast, pattern: #kalevalacal_neidonkehrä , hook: 4.0 mm
I absolutely love how this blanket turned out (swipe for picture of the whole blanket)!💙 Also: I think these colours would be great as alternative Christmas colours, what say you?
Yarn: drops karisma, pattern: c2c (border; moss stitch), hook: 7.0 mm
Poms or no poms in corners? Also: have any of you tryed machine washing anything with pom poms on? How’d that work out? 😙
Yarn: drops karisma, pattern: squares c2c, border: moss stitch, hook: 7.0 mm
Dear Erika @erika.and.crow asked me what I was working on #thistimelastyear and it was the first #katasquare of many that I thought would become a blanket (but instead ended up as a poncho). This particular square is still waiting patiently to become something though 😂. Someday I’ll find it’s purpose but ‘til then... 😊
Enjoy the weekend friends!
Yarn: drops karisma and sandnes toppull, pattern: Kata square, hook: 7.0 mm
Sweet Céline @lejardindeceline asked me #widn and I'm just about to border the plane back to Sweden. Zakynthos has been a treat, and I managed to get plenty crochet done too 💪🏻👌🏻 ✅. Would the gorgeous @svealealej @madebymelw and @kolorintxus like to play? No pressure 😙
Yarn: drops fabel, pattern: harlequin blanket, hook: 4.0 mm
Moroccan tile by @mooglyblog , had to give it a try and now I'm convinced I have to make at least two cushions, some coasters and probably a scarf or two in this pattern! 😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Yarn: drops fabel, hook: 4.0 mm, pattern: Moroccan tile afghan
Skuggan is inspecting my sweater shrug. I think I've figured out a good way to make the sleeves longer. Yay! 💥
Yarn: Toppull by Sandnes garn, hook: 9.0 mm, pattern: square: Wisteria, Sweater shrug: my own.
Förmodligen är det inte många som vet men idag är det alla virkares högtid. Det firar jag med ett kollage gjort av egna och andras rutor! (Två virkposter nästan på raken- förlåt, snart återgår jag till selfies). It's #grannysquareday y'all! Check
#grannysquareday2017 for awesome pictures and collages during this day!
One side of a cushion done and I'm loving it! The colors are great and the yarn is the softest ever! Now on to the other side 💪🏻👍🏻😊
Yarn: drops alpaca, hook: 3.5 mm, pattern: vintage flower square by @potterandbloom
Hanging out in the woods in my friends cabin. Love the sound of wind through the trees, a bumblebee's buzzing, a bird's chirping... ❤️
Oh also- my spider shawl is done!
Yarn: Zauberball by Schoppelwolle, hook: 5.0 mm, pattern: some spider shawl pattern from Schachenmayr
My first chevron and I can't believe I haven't tried this before. I love how each side of the blanket look different depending of how many rows I make of each color. And then the multicolored yarn adds extra effects upon that! 😍
Yarn: drops fabel, hook: 4.0, pattern: single crochet chevron (in back loops only).
I was tagged for #widn by the lovely ladies @rikaulricha @tangleandstitch @lundilina, Thank you so much for thinking about me 💖😙💖.
I finally got a couple of minutes to crochet. Otherwise it's all work and no play for me atm. 😖
I tag anyone who fancy to play along.
Yarn: drops fabel, hook: 4.0 mm, pattern: centred square
Today I'm turning circles into hexie flowers. Skuggan is helping. And by helping I mean shamelessly taking my seat in the couch, kindly accepting me squeezing in at the outermost side of it ... 🙄🤥😼
Yarn: järbo 8/4, hook: 3.0 mm, pattern: hexagon flower.
Back to home and back to business after a lovely weekend at Dömle, Värmland, where one of my best friends got married. I'm the one at the bottom right 👋🏻
Yarn: Drops Fabel, hook: 4.0 mm, pattern: Circle in a square by Jan Eaton.
The very sweet Johanna @ihan_oikea_blogi sked me for #widn and as a matter of fact I've started joining these wonderful Victorian lattice squares. Takes longer than expected but well worth it 💚. Would my friends @petalshed @virrkpannan @my_middle_drawer @flzvarol like to play? No pressure!
Yarn: Scheepjes Sugar Rush, hook: 1.5 mm, pattern: Victorian lattice square.
Sweet @rikaulricha asked me what I was working on a year ago and it was these Japanese flowers that one day may become a poncho, or a cardi, or a blanket... Far from finished though. 🌷😇🌻 Would @ak_at_home @turquoiseaddict @7lilsheep @barbertondaisy like to play along? No pressure.
Yesterday the train I was going home with was 4 hrs late which gave me plenty of time to work on something new! I'm adapting the pattern on the bright yellow to get more "soft" petals (I think the left side of each petal is a bit sharp in the original pattern). This is btw definitely colours out of my comfort zone 😂
Yarn: Järbo 8/4, hook: 3.0 mm, pattern: lace flower hexagon.
Wohoo! Table cloth finished, can't believe I actually finished something before it was "too late"!!! 😄😄😄💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
Yarn: Järbo 8/4, hook: 3.0 mm, pattern: My own adapted version of the small talk shawl. Edge is n:o 113 from the book "Crochet borders" by Edie Eckman.
Seeing Nicole's @tangleandstitch awesome squares I just had to try to figure out the pattern for the painted roses and this is my resault. Think I'll make a plain backside and make a potholder. Have a great weekend! 😙
Yarn: Drops Paris, hook: 6.0 mm, pattern: painted roses (sort of) by @sandracherryhrt
It's the circle of life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle
The circle of life // Circle of Life by Elton John
Yarn: Drops Alpaca, hook: 3.5 mm, pattern: vintage flower square.
When you saw a weary man
Were you quick to realize
The thing he needed most
Was a kind look from your eyes
When you saw an angry face
And the faces that you scanned
Did you soften up a bit
With the flower from your hands //Did you give the world some love today baby./ Doris
What a great start to the weekend! Crochet and sunshine, COLOUR burst and tea. I'm totally in love with this #wip .
