Ahhhh compass, we meet again my "friend". One of my least favorite poses because it always feels so difficult. Not only in the hamstrings and legs but along the side body as well. This is one I need to spend a lot of time prepping for and it's still not great 🙄 #hellahipopeners day 6

Chocolate medjool date balls 😍 talk about heaven.
1 cup - pitted medjool dates
1/2 raw almonds
1/2 raw walnuts
1/4 cocoa powder
1.5 teaspoons vanilla extra
1 tablespoon water
1/4 unsweetened shredded coconut
Blend all ingredients together until sticky enough to roll into a ball. Then roll them in a little extra coconut to finish!
Not sure about you, but I always feel fancy AF when I make fish "en papillote" 🤷🏻♀️but truth is, it's like BEYOND easy. Just season your fish with your fav spices, add your fave veggies (I personally love doing tomatoes, squash, asparagus, etc), add a tb or so of olive oil, and then wrap it all up in parchment paper and then bake (making sure all edges are sealed) at 350 for 10-ish min. Had to wake up at 5:45 this morning to get in a quick 2 mile run. I have training ALL week so I now go from a 5 min commute to work to a 45/50 min commute to training and it sucks!! BUT instead of taking a week off running I am getting up earlier and only running half the miles...but that's OK 👌🏼life is a marathon not a sprint 😉Happy #nevermissamonday 💋
Been on plan all week, went over on syns yesterday but only had 2 today! I've been to the gym for an hour AND to clubbercise ,which my lovely friend @nicolamariesw trusty watch told us we'd burnt over 500 kcals in the one hour.
Had the idea to make my portion sizes smaller by putting my food inside the cucumber. Yummy speedy slag Bol tonight :). Mon-SLAY
It's amazing how much smaller my waist looks by pulling my underwear up higher 🤷🏾♀️ I just wanted to share this little #transformation I was taking bikini photos earlier and seeing which were my most flattering angles/poses and these photos were part of that. High waisted underwear are more flattering as they make your waist appear a lot smaller, same goes for high waisted leggings. I know I wear them because they make me look good and feel more comfortable, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I created this account though to show you my complete journey, the good and the bad. Most the photos I post are at my best but it's also important to share with you when I'm not at the best. If I'm bloated, or just standing normally not posed or am having a bad body image day. All these things are normal and they should be shared so people can see nobody's perfect. Always remember instagram is a highlight reel.. don't compare your reality to someone else's insta page because nobody walks around with abs 24/7 💜
Mondays!!!! The birth day of our weekly goals, for resetting our intentions for what's possible. How often do we "start" something on a Monday, fall off by Thursday and then promise to recommit the following Monday?
Change isn't achieved in one step or in one day. While bursts of effort and intention can get things moving, the lasting results come from daily habits. And the difference is made in the small choices. Whether it be a goal of getting healthier, writing a book, saving money or making this your best year, do it one day, one step at a time.

Finally managed to hunt down some jars of @pipandnut 🥜🐿 and it was on offer too #doublewinning 👌🏻I decided to get the crunchy peanut butter, peanut butter with maple and the coconut chocolate hazelnut for the boy. He is a Nutella fiend so I thought he might like this as a healthier substitute, but I just gave him a teaspoon to try and he pulled the same face babies pull when they taste a lemon for the first time 😝 verdict: I guess he's not a fan 🤷🏼♀️ #moreformethen 💁🏼#cantcomplain#nutbutterislife

I am really enjoying life right now! I'm eating all the aioli and going to bed around 10 pm every day! Crashing my parents vacation was one of my wisest moves, because we enjoy the same things, like starting the day with a workout🙌🏻 The warm weather is also magic for my joints, and it is so nice to not wake up aching all over just because the temperature is dropping! I am TWO WEEKS out from my half marathon!!! My training has been basically nothing, but I am feeling good thanks to #bbg (although that hasn’t been so consistent lately either!) however tonight at running club I started to really excited for the race. It’ll be my fourth HM, and they’re really fun; I mean you get to eat every 5km so it’s basically a party 😂
But seriously, I have some positive affirmations that I say while running and once I settle into my breath i feel quite ok. So I’m going to aim for some interval training this week, one 15K run this weekend and then just have fun 🙌🏻
I'm all for fancy breakfasts and pumpkin spice everything, but sometimes simple is best. Eggs + spinach + Greek yogurt + burnt toast 🔥. Also, if you're not on the @traderjoes everything but the bagel seasoning train yet, you need to reconsider your life choices. That is all.

Evening all😴 something I wanted to talk about today real quick is EATING ENOUGH🍴🍳🍗🍏
In the past before I got into fitness I didn't track calories, and didn't really think about eating. I used to skip breakfast and not eat until lunch which thinking back was HELL NO cause now I have to HAVE my morning porridge😂😅
I have had a few stages where I thought that I could lose a few pounds of fat here or there, and wanting to lose it FAST, I cut my calories drastically. BIG mistake🙅🏻 I ended up losing most of my muscle mass and actually gained body fat.
When you starve your body of energy and nutrients, it clings onto the fat for dear life. You also have to feed the muscles so they remain💪🏼 When cutting you're bound to lose a little muscle but you really don't have to cut drastically to see results🙃
In this picture I had just started cutting and was eating around 1600 calories a day.
Just make sure you are eating enough if you want to lower that body fat percentage. FEED yourself, you'll see much better results that way😇
UM YAAA so that was today because it’s currently almost 90 degrees with I N S A N E humidity and I was all about NOT going to the gym. But I DID. And even though I didn’t go as hard as normal I was S W E A T I N G and I mean profusely 😂😅😅😅😅 ALSO I really want some advice from you lovely ladies!! I have been off and on with BBG 1.0 and I’m STUCK on week 8!! I really really want to start BBG Stronger. Which work outs do y’all prefer more? And the winner of the most unworthy IG pic goes to....🙋🏻😬 But all worth it to show my 🍑 gains. My goal has always been not too big, just a handful. I've been doing a lot more glute focused exercises on leg day. I figured my 2 @soulcycle rides a week kill my legs (in a good way, of course) so I spend my time squeezing and squatting away 😂 I do feel like at my age, I've gotta work a lil harder to keep everything perkier, am I right?! 😝
