When you're a seasonal worker it's hard to feel grounded. Sometimes, sleeping in the same tent each night is the only consistency I have in life.
I slept in this Sweet Suite 2 from @sierradesigns for almost two and a half months this summer. After a while, it's goofy shape and bright colors started to look like home.
Right now, I'm lucky to be able to say that I have a roof over my head and a bed to sleep in. Next time I get the chance sleep out, I'll definitely be packing this tent with me. Link in bio to read the review!
Days like these that you dream about during the off-season. Sometimes you don’t quite realize how epic it was until a few hours later. So glad to have some good buddies to share the passion with. #keepitpublic#publiclandowner#heavystraps
Successful 3 generation Montana mule deer hunt. Had the time of my life with these three. I am very fortunate to be able to enjoy the outdoors with my dad and sons #publicland#diy#keepitpublic#muleyfreak
"Time is a sort of river of passing events, and strong is its current; no sooner is a thing brought to sight than it is swept by and another takes its place, and this too will be swept away."

"Okay, try and be as quiet as you can." Hunting Sitka Blacktail Deer on the Tongass National Forest is unlike anything else. I think they thrive in tangled areas like this one because they can hear you coming from a long ways off. But if you do successfully harvest one, it sure makes you appreciate that animal a whole lot more.

Presidential Proclamation -- Establishment of the Bears Ears National Monument, paragraph 11: From earth to sky, the region is unsurpassed in wonders. The star-filled nights and natural quiet of the Bears Ears area transport visitors to an earlier eon. Against an absolutely black night sky, our galaxy and others more distant leap into view. As one of the most intact and least roaded areas in the contiguous United States, Bears Ears has that rare and arresting quality of deafening silence.

Finding the Sawtooth/Return to Sawtooth I made this image a number of years ago on my last visit to an area I worked in Wenatchee National Forest in WA.
When I was a Wilderness Ranger through the @mtadamsinstitute I drove this road every other week on my way to patrol an area of high meadows and rugged mountains. I've been all over this country and visited a few others but the Sawtooth is still in the top of my list of beautiful places.
This is an experimental print on uncoated watercolor paper, resulting in a "faded" look due to the paper absorbing so much of the ink.
2 prints up in the shop, link in profile.
