First meal of the day was at 430pm. Grilled cheese/turkey with basil pesto and BBQ rice cakes.
I don’t eat all the clean “bro foods”. I follow the 80/20 rule. I like to be flexible with my food especially when on a cut. If I want skittles, I’ll fit them into my macros on a non cheat day. I stick with the one cheat meal/refeed a week to keep sane. I’m currently at a 500 caloric deficit and do high carb/low fat on training day and low carb/high fat on rest day. I keep my protein the same with 1g per body weight.
I’ve been doing intermittent fasting “IF” for over three weeks and have noticed my body composition dropping. It fits in my schedule and I feel satisfied with all my meals during my eating window, not to mention all the health benefits it has! I’ve been strength training 5-6 times a week while fasted and have not lost any strength.
Find what works for you and stick with it. Make small tweaks to your diet and workouts and keep pushing. Consistency will pay off!

I picked this little monkey up from the kids corner at the gym and the first thing she did was hug me real tight and excited she said " WOW you did great today momma! I watched you the whole time! When I grow up I want to be strong like you momma" I broke down in tears of joy😢. This is what I needed to hear 😍 ... and now these leggings are loose! WHAAAAAAT! I’m swimming in a 14 and now I’m in M/L leggings! I remember crying to my bf about how I was busting out of these when I bought them! Lord knows how many episodes I’ve had over the last year. It’s like you get so discouraged and start feeling like you’ll always be fat because no matter what you do—nothing works! And then you start eating and binging because of those feelings. It’s a horrible cycle!!! You just gotta keep pushing through all of those feelings because sooner or later everything you are doing WILL WORK! Something is BOUND TO WORK! Switch up your diet, your workouts, your eating times, your meals etc and something is BOUND TO WORK!
