I personally don't like avocado - but it's so important to eat for the fibre and healthy fat! So I make home made guacamole and eat it like it's mash potatoe 😂 tastes amazing and lovely summery food 😍 served with pesto chicken wrapped in bacon! (No I can't finish the meal size that it is 😂)
We are heading out to Ana Marie Island tomorrow for three nights at a Bed & Breakfast on the water!!! Totally soaking up every kid-free night we have and continuing to invest in our marriage! Marriage takes work and you can't get lazy. Weekends away aren't necessary if it's outside of your budget, but what IS important is to be intentional on keeping the spark alive!
Another area you need to be intentional is your weekend eating! I eat the same on a Saturday as I do on a Wednesday....all super yummy, nutrient-dense, fill-my-belly-goodness foods .... Don't undo all your good work by going food crazy just because it's the weekend! Find balance 7 days per week!!!
Today I hit milestone 1 (-20 lbs). Most of this was on keto and all was since Jan 1. I'm on my way. We all have our psychological milestones and this one for me brought me below the weight that was, for a long time, my highest weight. In the last 6 months I went 20 lbs higher than that so it's nice to be below this again. A long way to go but I'm going to keep on keeping on. .
How cute are my little fat bombs!!!!!????!! Coconut butter, cacao butter, cacao powder and cacao nibs. Melt everything except the nibs in a pan on low heat then fill molds halfway with "chocolate", add nibs then fill the rest of the way! 100% cacao! Mmm! Just reminding myself of what consistency looks like. These two pictures are three months apart. I don't have a full body mirror or scale to compare now (my stuff arrives in Germany at the end of July and I usually weigh myself naked but I couldn't do that at the gym 😂), but this just goes to show what hardwork and consistency can do.#TBT#throwbackthursday
Day 3 lunch. No shame, I'm eating the exact same thing that I did the other day. It's just so easy though and I think the salami and pickles will help me get some sodium in! Starting to feel better as the day goes on with this keto flu.
Update on the last meal: I ended up not eating as much as the sour cream dip-- 3 ng a serving. Which isn't bad, but I'm trying to see if I can have some berries for dessert tonight. 😋😉

Stek tärnad zucchini, purjolök och lite strimlad spetskål mjuk- låt svalna. Blanda kokosmjölk (Garants som stått i kylen) med majonnäs och lite dijonsenap. Jag äter inte mejerier men man kan byta ut kokosmjölken mot cremefraiche. Rör i kapris och krydda med peppar, salt behövs inte då kaprisen är så salt i sig. This was our dinner yesterday. 6 slices of bacon weaved together. Placed 2 patties from costco. Seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning. Cheese in between both patties and wrapped the bacon around the patties. I first started cooking them on my stove but half way through I placed them in the oven at 425 degrees. Next time I'll make my own patties with ground beef for my husband and ground turkey for me. (Ever since my 3rd pregnancy I can't stand the smell of ground beef when I'm making it) The kids wanted bacon wrapped hotdogs.
Leftovers from the dinner I made last night: garlic cauliflower mash, organic lemon rosemary chicken and French string beans (sorry we ate all of those)! Tastes even better the next day! What are your favorite kinds of leftovers??🌿🐓🍋👅💦 #fastfuelled
