Yesterday was a total #ketofail ! I ate fries, a slice of bread, chocolate, and had 3 drinks while celebrating my big sister’s bday with my fam 🤦🏽♀️ I also skipped my workout (but I did work up a sweat dancing 😉). The great news is that I don’t feel defeated. I’m jumping back in today with both feet! I’ve been fasting all day and now I’m about to make up my missed workout. My purpose for sharing my journey here is to record all of my ups and downs during this process. As I have said many times before, I’m not perfect and neither am I trying to be. I’m just a girl on a journey who is unwilling to give up on her goals no matter how many time she falls down ❤️😘
Yesterday 🤦🏽♀️ went to a car show with the familia and Hubby snapped this pic 😑 I just cant seem to stick on Keto longer than a few days and this back and forth weight gain is ruining my spirit, my clothes and my body. For real I can gain and lose weekly and it sucks!! Its all me and I have been trying to figure out how to get the vicious cycle to stop 🛑 I vow to be real with yall. I attempted to make keto bread but screwed up the recipe and tried to fix it before I baked it. The bread was supposed to be "light and fluffy" (3rd pic) but turned out dense and squat. Still, it tastes pretty good but don't think it's going to be possible to make a sandwich on a bread slice that has the surface expanse of a human thumb. Ha! Trial and error! #ketodiet#ketofail
Today I stumbled hard and gave in to some emotional eating...my oldest has some mental health challenges and it's been a rough few days. DAMMIT. After a rough day with a 2yr old and not really feeling the best, we ordered takeaways. I should have just settled for a bunless burger from McDonald's, but no, without thinking I ordered pizza as soon as my partner suggested it. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY DAMN SELF. But I won't beat myself up about it, just got to carry on and start up again tomorrow 😊😊👏
Day 19: Had an atkins bar for lunch ~3 net carbs. Then went to Eataly and had a whole Burrata for dinner. I probably went over the carbs count because I ate all that tomato...oh well. Sometimes you just gotta take a day off? Ha, that’s what I’ll tell myself.

I’ll review this and say don’t bother. I normally have a tiny bit of 90% cocoa chocolate as a rare treat but this 100% is just not enjoyable at all, pointless. Unless you used it as part of a recipe which I will do with the rest of it.
Having a few bites of sugar free jell-o because I feel nauseous. Yesterday, I fell off and had a "cheat" day. Ate like a cup of mashed potatoes, creme brûlée, 2 mcchickens and large fries/soda. Felt so tired and woke up with major heartburn. Last night was taco night. It’s the best way I know to use up some vegetables 🍅 that aren’t as fresh as they once were. 🥗🍅🥒👌
The corn tortillas were kind of carby (10 grams per!!) but I used them anyway. Delish as usual but I need to find a lower carb taco option. Felt the post-carb fatigue, glazed over feeling, and fuzzy vision afterwards that signals a carb overload. Not a huge deal and certainly it was much lower than my pre- Keto meals BUT I am back on track today and feeling the burn. 🔥🔥. In a good way!
Keto... right out the window tonight. Got a package from my sister-in-law and it had very good tasting good he’s in there that I have a sample that’s OK I’m back on my keto tomorrow!! This actually looks much better than it tasted. I was trying out @keto.connect recipe for the thin crust but it wasn’t quite what i was hoping for. I’d still want to try it again and roll it out thinner crust. All trial and error 🤷🏼♀️
Made @healthfulpursuit ‘s #nooatmealchocolatefudge and it’s amazing! Except, I got semi sweet chocolate chips by accident!!! Totally throws off the macros I was intending! I’m so sad :( i pawned off half to my mom and will be giving the rest to my husband! Oh well - making these again next week! #keto#ketofail
