Keto - Day 2! Breakfast and lunch on the go today. Breakfast was bacon, and lunch is tuna salad - romaine lettuce, can of tuna, tomato, cucumber, and Tessemae's green goddess dressing. I love @tessemaes salad dressing!! So good!
I am so excited thanks to #Keto I was able to finally break through my #plateau I was over exercising, eating clean, no processed foods, no dairy and reduced sugar. I was eating whole grains like Quinoa and Oatmeal. I was drinking more than 64 ounces of water a day and staying under 1700 cal and nothing was changing. I was actually retaining water and started gaining weight while doing all the right things That would work for most people. But being that I am borderline Type 2 diabetes and I have #PCOS that was not the right formula for me. Keto has definitely been a challenge but I'm definitely looking forward to it getting easier. I can't wait to see the scale go farther down yay... Side Note: Since I started this whole entire journey from day one I couldn't sleep (Never Been an issue for me in my life. Spot the pup 🐶 I made a raw salted caramel slice and OMG✋🏼 its gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free & vegan (if you roll that way). It’s not Keto due to the medjool dates in it🙄 BUT 5 weeks keto strong with no cheating.. I’m going to allow a treat 🤤 I got the recipe from @sarahs_day ✨🙌🏼
Bacon cheddar burgers for dinner with extra cheddar cheese slices on top! Busy day today meant no time for lunch, so I had to eat two burger patties for dinner to make up the calories. Way too much food for me though!
