Made an amazing chicken parmesan today after work. 8 boneless chicken thighs salted and seasoned with garlic powder. Poured half a bottle @raoshomemade into the dish laid down the thighs, covered with the remainder of the sauce, followed by a generous covering of mozzarella. Then 40-50 minutes in the oven at 400°. I pay and move on. The lady behind me proceeds with her order (something big , sweet with extra caramel and cool whip)
My coffee is up , so they call my name. As I'm walking up to get my coffee, the lady says "I don't understand why skinny people waste their time on coffee like that." I looked at her and said, without thinking "standing next to you makes me look extra skinny. I don't owe anyone an explanation as to why I'm living the #ketolife . Maybe you should try a diet that will make you feel happy and love yourself and others!"
She looked shocked and the five people lining up, clapped.
As I walked to my car, I felt horrible.

It takes #discipline and it's not easy but it is SO worth it and so are you. I've gotten into a Sunday routine where I cook my foods and keep them in separate containers. Then every week night I pick what I feel like the next day, weigh it out, check it's macros/calories and pack it up for work! I don't like to plan my specific meals on Sunday because who knows what my body may need or feel like- but every one has their own method! As long as you plan, that's all that matters. Breaking my 21 hour #fast today with a spinach salad with oil and red wine vinegar, rotisserie chicken, feta, parmesan cheese and hard boiled eggs! Road trip breakfast- poached eggs, bacon, Hollandaise sauce. It's tough not getting hashbrowns or toast for the Hollandaise though. My old habits are strong in this area, and I feel like I am sacrificing.
