I completely broke out of my shell for this one. I'm not a sausage fan, at all. But I'm trying to venture out and try different types of protein.
And I made two separate pans. One for me and one for my non-sweet-potato-loving family.😉

I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. It was super easy to make and now I have at least 3 meals for the week. #MomWin ✌

1 c. THRIVE Mushroom Pieces - Freeze Dried
1 c. THRIVE Onion Slices - Freeze Dried
1 tsp. THRIVE Beef Bouillon
1 c. 1 Cup - Water
1 pkg. 1 Package - Gouda Cheese
1 pkg. 1 Package - White Bread
1 tbsp. 1 Tablespoon - Butter, salted
Add the mushrooms, onions, bouillon and water to a pan and saute on medium heat, making sure not to burn.
Spread butter on one side of two pieces of bread. Slice cheese and place on the side of bread without butter.
Once the mushrooms and onions are sauteed, place on top of the cheese and top with the second piece up bread with the buttered side on the outside.

So many people assume vegan food is time-consuming and overwhelming. Most days we’re just throwing something together. This meal was SO easy & satisfying. Chopped up some veg, sprinkled in EVOO, salt & herbs roasting. Threw rice in the rice-cooker while they veggies were baking and blended up a simple cashew cheese sauce to tie it all together. Prep time around 20 mins... and we had leftovers! 🙌🏽🌿

Good morning all!🙏😊 Dry fruits powder for the babies!(8m+) As promised, I am sharing this recipe with you guys, also I thought that I might as well share little bit about our Maharashtrian culture. Baby weaning is a big event in our culture, baby usually is fed from silverware. This beautiful plate and bowl is gifted from my mother specifically for the weaning event.

The gravy boat shaped silver container is usually used to feed the baby dry fruits paste which we call "ghutti" however we didn't introduce any dry fruits before 8 months but we used it to feed water to the baby when he was 6 months old. This is also gifted by my mother. The other bracelets were given by my MIL during his naming ceremony.
All these ornaments bring back so many sweet memories. My lo will be 18 Months old this month but sometimes I miss him being new born. Although I must say that I have started understanding my parents better after having a baby. Kids surely grow very fast, don't they?
Ok so recipe. I don't want to take credit for this recipe because one of my friend told me about it. But I love love love it.👇 Ingredients-
100grams each of cashews, almonds and pistachios
Few strands of saffron
5-6 pods of cardamom
1 tsp nutmeg powder
Dry roast cashews, almonds and pistachios separately until they are crunchy. Then mix everything together and blend it away.
This powder is best to add oatmeal, any porridge, milk, smoothies, pancakes and you name it. It's so handy and can be stored in airtight container for ages. It's so nutritious and healthy, I am sure I don't have to tell about that.😊 Try it out, mommies! Although make sure that baby is not allergic to any nuts before, this one is perfect for weight gain in babies.
