I’m not by any means a “coffee guy”. It just goes great with ANY meeting. I don’t need it at any particular moment of the day, and my life will be just as amazing without it. But don’t I dunnoooooo.......i’m really wanting this third cup.
Did you know the Mippoos family now has its own family crest? Mom and I designed it to represent the story of Mippoland: *Within the borders of the very small country called the Netherlands, there is another tiny country: Mippoland!
No one knows exactly where Mippoland is located, but legend has it that it lies close to the spring sails of the Dutch windmills.
However, despite enthusiastic and eager searches near the windmills, Mippoland is yet to be discovered...* We're looking forward to digging deeper into the stories of Mippoland. What adventure would you like to hear more about? 😃
The sad little girl coloured with Copic markers and digital patterns of denim and knitting for yesterday's #denim of the #doodleadayjan and also yesterday's #mottomittwoch prompt #cap - yesterday was so full of unexpected things, that I hadn't the time to post. Hope, you are all well and it's not too stormy outside 💨
What great taste these kids in Uganda have! They already know these nursery rhymes and now they can drive their parents and teachers nuts singing my versions over and over! Children from www.ugandahandsforhope.org
In 2010 I worked on a big project with @finger_industries , creating hundreds of spot illustrations and 2D backgrounds for their 3D character illustrations.
During that project I discovered that I really enjoyed creating these quick little pencil sketches and so, after the project ended, I decided to try to become a children’s illustrator.
It took me a long time to get going and I’m still searching for my style somewhat, but I was lucky to land a few exciting commissions early on that gave me the confidence to keep at it. And, I’m happy to report that I’ve been pretty busy of late, which is why I haven’t posted much here. Sorry about that.
But anyway, I just wanted to say a belated Happy New Year to everyone who follows me on here and say thanks for all the likes and comments, they are much appreciated!! Looking forward to sharing some new work soon and uploading some more of my inane doodlings. THANKS! 👍🏼🍻✊🏼

Day 17 is ‘quote’ for #mymonthinbooks I’m going with one from ‘The Little White Horse’ by #elizabethgoudge . ‘Humanity can be roughly divided into three sorts of people - those who find comfort in literature, those who find comfort in personal adornment, and those who find comfort in food’ (pic 2) - Not sure where that leaves those of us who fit into more than one of those categories!!
