I remember watching some TV show a long time ago and they were talking about their favorite foods and how to make them healthier. They said to focus on what part of the food you like most. So example I love pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches. I love the warm BBQ sauce (it's a problem but whatever) and I love the crunch of the coleslaw. So today's I put chicken in the crockpot with some spices. After it was done I shredded it up and mixed it with some BBQ sauce and put it on top of undressed coleslaw. Ummm... Can you say yum? I didn't miss the bread or mayo and I definitely didn't miss the mess. This was definitely a win for me! What do you like best about your favorite food? #ilovebbq#pulledchicken#kindacleaneating#ilovemycrockpot

THIS is a picture of everything I ate yesterday. After a weekend of camping, enjoying cookies, ice cream & lots of bacon, I wanted to get back on track with my nutrition. What does that mean for me? It does NOT mean depriving myself! People often ask me what I "can" eat when following the programs I do. Eating clean 24/7 is NOT a reality for me or my family. I firmly believe in progress not perfection. I do my best to plan healthier meals, always drink my superfood shake & shoot for lots of water. Bottom line....DON'T let the poor choices you made over the weekend set the tone for the rest of the week. Move forward with healthier eating habits NOT restrictions.
And we have the big meat head native buddy here that was ever so nice enough to bring us moose tenderloin......bacon wrapped..... well it was clean lean eating till the bacon went on. Meh thanks to this guy I have this luxury. #moose#baconwrap#kindacleaneating#tastyeats
Post gym feast... probably could've used way more veggies, but in this concoction I have, butter, garlic, beef, kale, broccoli, Serranos, mushrooms, turmeric root, black pepper, sea salt and a little soy sauce(liquid aminos would be better along with coconut oil instead of the butter) and I gots to have that Gingerade Kombucha afterwards... #TheRollUpChef#ChandlerWatson#illcookanywhere#kindacleaneating#cleaneating#losangeles
The boyfriend and I had some time to kill so made these babies tonight 😏 .... I actually substituted the brown and white sugar with coconut sugar and is trying out these boxes of chocolate chips from Indonesia ... hmmm not sure if they're my favorite options but hey .. all for the sake of experimentation and bonding with my ❤️ #kitandlisa#madewithlove#homebaking#cookies#chocolatechipcookies#kindacleaneating

Wow! These were so delicious and satisfying! Avocado Ranch Chicken Salad Cups will be added to the rotation. They are "kinda clean" because it has bacon but so worth it! Below is the dressing and recipe.
Avocado Cilantro Lime Dressing
1 Avocado 🥑
1 clove Garlic, peeled
¼ cup roughly chopped cilantro
¼ greek yogurt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon 🍋 juice
3 tablespoons Olive Oil
¼ teaspoon Kosher Salt
¼ @mrsdashrecipes Water 💦
Stick in blender and duh blend!
Chicken 🍗 Salad 🥗 Lettuce Cups
🥓 6 slices of bacon, cooked until crisp and chopped
🍗 2 fully-cooked boneless and skinless chicken breasts, shredded or chopped 🍅 1 pint Roma tomatoes 🥑 1 avocado, peeled and pitted, diced
🥗 1 large head Boston lettuce
In a large bowl, add the avocado ranch dressing, bacon, chicken, and tomatoes. Fold the ingredients together until they just come together. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Very gently fold in the avocado, making sure not to smash them into the chicken salad.
Scoop the chicken salad onto the Boston lettuce. Wrap them up and eat immediately! Enjoy!
