Tigger Back At Emergency Vet
Poor little 4 week old Tigger is back at our emergency vet again and he has been isolated in ICU since Sunday morning.
Amanda had to rush him to North Shore Veterinary Hospital Pty Ltd again on Sunday as he was extremely lethargic and flat. Tigger has been vomiting and had diarrhoea again despite being well for two days.
Tigger nearly didn’t make it due to excessive loss of fluid. He only weights 300 grams whereas his brother Shmoo weights well over 400 grams. Our vet told us that he only needed to lose another 35 ml of fluid and he would not be alive.
He has been kept in ICU since Sunday and we were finally able to visit him last night. Tigger was so happy to see us and he purred when Amanda’s kids were stroking him.
Tigger still needs to remain at ICU until it is safe for him to go back home. We will keep you posted as soon as he is well enough to go home.
We hate to ask for help again especially so soon after last Thursday's emergency but we will be grateful if you could assist us again with Tigger’s vet bill.
The current running total is estimated at $1,200 and we are unsure sure how many more days he will need to remain at ICU. If you could assist by donating and/or sharing our post, little Tigger and his carers will be very thankful for your kindness to help him recover.
