Eat & Drink, at Soju Haus.
Don’t expect to find Soju Haus so easily. The modern Korean bar and restaurant is behind closed doors on the 2nd floor of a skyscraper in Koreatown. If you’re willing to absorb Korean culture like me, don’t be afraid to take the elevator, Soju Haus is cozy and full of Korean speakers, so it’s the right place to be.
A soju is a traditional Korean liquor distilled from rice or grains and is extremely popular in South Korea. When it comes to eating, Koreans enjoy having a connection between their food and their drink. They love side dishes (especially their classic kimchi, seasoned and fermented vegetables) and spicy dishes.
#tbt My fifth and latest design collaboration with my brother, @woodylovell, for the @thebarbershopclub. Thoughtfully designed to reflect the old world charm of the 1940's, the space is just as stunning as it is nostalgic. #thelovefamily#familybusiness @hotelnormandie
