Mountain hunting sometimes is scary but so rewarding. You must love capra's environment to do this. Crazy footage by @mountainhunter4life .

Always be prepared— you never know when the weather could take a turn on you. Good thing @melchiano packed Ultra NX Rain Gear!
“Out of all my gear, the ULTRA NX Rain Gear was the layer that the guides and old school cowboys really wanted. We watched them go from haters to believers in a few days.”
Today is the last day to save 20% on all Vias Rain Gear! Tap the link in our bio.
@krugerjn with a stud bull arrowed earlier this year in Greenland.
Can’t say enough about @kuiu_official from the products all the way to the customer service! I’ve never got a Christmas card from any other company. I have met some great friends and new hunting partners because of them and the events they put on. Thanks for all you do! Throw back to my first branch bull. What a moment for me, I dropped him at 2:42 on the 5th day of the season, we didn't get back to the shop with him until 10:45. That season had so many opportunities but not ethical shots. Saw many other bulls that were either to far away or was up close and personal but had cows in front , behind or around them. This bull had been shot at during first light by 4 hunters on two different landings, I remember hearing the shots it was terrible it was around 20+. Well they wounded him by hitting him in the jaw and through the throat and wind pipe. But they never located him, and when I connected with him it was about a mile away and I doubled lunged him. Had I not came across him it's very doubtful he would have mad it through winter. Would have been a terrible waste. Just a reminder to people please take ethical shots and if you can't do that then let it go. No animal deserves to be wounded and die of starvation or infection.

Sometimes hunts go the way we want them to, and other times they don’t. It’s a truth that can be hard to swallow. The beauty of this unsuccessful hunt is the anticipation of completing your dream can continue to grow. It will make it that much better when it finally happens. I can promise you this, I will be standing by your side when it happens, and my heart will be full of joy.
New vlog is up on YouTube. Go check it! ✌🏼 Link is in my bio. 😉
Feels good to help others notch tags. Rhett scored his first Rocky Mountain Goat this year out of Prince William Sound. Was pumped to be apart of the adventure. Rhett used my @winchesterrepeatingarms 338 Extreme Weather Stainless Steel rifle with 225 grain Expedition Big Game by @winchesterammunition topped with a @styrkastrong scope. #kuiunation#livethelegend#missionalaska#styrkastrong

2017 marks the year we finally discovered our own deer, so naturally that has to go in this list! We've always been at the mercy of others for deerstalking, but hopefully this marks the beginning of being able to cultivate our own source of Roe buck stalking and the venison that comes with it 👍🏻 -
'I like this picture because it pretty much sums up the whole Spring & Summer 😂 all we seemed to do was chase deer sign and lay cameras to be rewarded every now and again with a picture of a deers rump or blurry antlers, maybe next year we'll see him in the flesh a bit more ... who knows' - Lewis
Tagged out in Southern Coahuila second morning on this ancient, 8 1/2 year old Mexican Central Plateau Whitetail. Waiting for Alain to pull the trigger. We are making arraignments to move to another location in Neuvo Leon tomorrow to chase some other animals. I’m not even going to discuss our target animal over there until I see it!!! Too much to explain!!! Sounds promising though. More to come!!!
