Louisiana native, Sierra Demouchet, is an author with a passionate love for all things relating to art and the expression of oneself. Sierra found her love for writing in Junior High School when she was initially introduced to poetry. Her writing began as short stories crafted into poems, later becoming full-length novels. Writing has proved to be Sierra’s saving grace as writing provided a way for Sierra to escape depression during her adolescence, prompting Sierra to one day make a career out of her passion for writing. Following her passion for the arts, Sierra completed her undergraduate study in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Theatre Arts. She also holds a degree in Paralegal Studies. With her degrees providing the skills and foundation necessary to ensure success in business, Sierra confidently entered the literary world in April 2016 with the publishing of her debut novel, “Praying My Way Out of the Struggle,” through Destined Eloquence Publishing, a small publishing company that she owns with her husband.
Sierra is a devoted wife and mother who values time well-spent with her family. She is currently writing the remaining stories of the Family Matters series, hosting the writing workshop, Write: By You, which is held quarterly, and assisting aspiring writers in the launch of their literary careers.
