September 22, 2017 // Even though I just had my knee repaired a couple days ago, I had get into the mountains to celebrate the first day of #Autumn . The canyon was absolutely breathtaking today. (Also, if you've never worn little bootie socks from a hospital, I'm sorry.) 🍂
Amy and I will be headed to Yosemite very soon to do some hiking and photography. Can’t wait to get there and explore with her. Sharing the outdoors with others is amazing. The textures, colors, smells, and crisp air will be refreshing!
Earlier this week we rounded up all our cattle to run them through the chute for fall shots, fly control and to weigh each calf to see the productivity of the cow. This is one way we determine the quality of the herd and the consistency of each cows input into her calf. If she continues to raise a good calf, we keep her. If she doesn't, she's culled from the herd at weaning.
All part of the cattle ranching business to ensure that we have the best possible beef to do our part in helping feed the world.
In this photo you'll find my husband, my son, and my bro.
Loving on these recent scans from @richardphotolab of our trip to Scotland last month! (Thanks @erichmcvey for all the location advice!) Currently working on adding a dedicated fine art print site to my offerings soon to include my travel & non-wedding personal work, so keep an eye out for that to come! 😊
