Finally have a tiny bit of energy (with an 8 month baby bump) to get to these overgrown zucchini and summer squash out of the garden to prepare it for the final fall plantings. Now I'm preserving the bounty (we tried a few other overgrown ones and they were still quite tasty). So, squash forever!

I'm pretty excited about these butternut squash. Long, straight necks. Perfect for casseroles and lasagnas. Not to mention I paid $2 a piece for them.
