It's been one of those weeks. My husband calls it a "head down and horns up" kind of week. I can translate his army talk to mean, long hours and not a lot of laughs. So, today is self care Saturday!
I'm at one of my favorite places with my favorite person. Nothing like a trip to the farmers market to make me feel peaceful and happy.
Today will also include lots of laughter. I did a worksite wellness talk yesterday @boeing and one of the things I discussed was how laughter can improve just about every aspect of your health.
The chemicals released in your body when you laugh have great anti-viral and anti-tumor properties. Laughing can also boost your immune system and help your blood vessels to be more flexible.
I read an article a few years ago that says the average child laughs around 300 times a day and the average adult laughs less than 10. I am committed today to acting (and laughing) like a child 😂 however, I hope to avoid making farting sound with my armpits 🤷🏻♀️
A year ago today we were off one of the most amazing 2 week trips we've both ever experienced.. A year later and we're planning one of life's greatest trips 💍🤵🏻👰🏻.. I can't wait to travel life's paths and go on so many adventures with my favourite human.. ❤💑🌏
