Not only did I have a good meal at @burgerhq, but a good drink too. Their cider was clearly marked vegan and was the best cider I had in a good while! Rosie's pig flat tyre Rhubarb cloudy cider, would definitely have this again if I knew where to find it 🍺🌱💚
Well tonight I had the pleasure of trying out @burgerhq's new newcastle restaurant. I was expecting it to be nice, but it was even better than I expected, sometimes with veggie/vegan burgers they can be a mushy and a bit 'meh', but this was tasty. It had a crunch about, and the sauce was ace. I would normally ask for a plain burger, but I thought I'd try it out and I'm glad I did. The burger was called the vegan burger and everything was clearly marked vegan, and if there's any veggies reading this there was a veggie burger too 😊🌱💚

My goal with this account is to show that you don't have to have a huge amount of creativity, wealth or cooking skills to eat vegan. You can make a beautiful smoothie bowl or a fancy tofu scramble every day if that's your style... But cereal and toast are still good options if you're a slightly lazier vegan like me. 🤓 Have a great weekend, friends! ✌🏻
I love Pizza ! Vegan pizza!? To be honest on a night out I would eat cheese pizza because I felt that pizza without cheese or plant based cheese is just no good. But trust me this is on another level! No grease , no weird cheese smell and you don't feel like a bag of potatoes after eating the whole lot. Lol really easy stuff ! Just skip the cheese or add plant based cheese . And it was so good without it ! How to make it ? Easy stuff , get the dough (you can get it from the shops), add tomato paste , veg of your choice, I used mushrooms, cauliflower, spinach and tomatoes - everything that I didn't end up using for the curry !.

Mini muffin pizzas with tomato paste, roast capsicum, mushroom, olives, rocket, vegan feta and sweet chilli mayo. Look how coot they are.
Don't mind me while I nom away on my spinach and tofu #empenadas . Sorry for the crummy picture qualities but I work in a dungeon with not much light. Made by a sweet man named Fausto who comes by our office to sell his homemade empanadas. He made these vegan ones especially for me. ☺️

Craving for vegan Chinese food well and truly catered for this evening at @sweet.mandarin. I had salt and pepper mushrooms to start which I could have happily eaten 7 portions of, and then sweet and sour tofu for main with boiled rice. I'll be back!
Still working on my wrapping skills (probably because I love filling my wraps with too many veggies haha) but this is actually one of the best lunches I’ve ever made myself (ingredients: beans, bell peppers, tomatoes, spinach, avocados, hummus) 🤤🌯
For latenight-dinner I'm enjoying stewed kale simmered in asian spices with "quick cooking" asian style noodles and few almonds on top ✌️
This meal is so super easy and yummy 👌😄
It only took me around 15 minutes from cutting kale until serving the meal 😊

Tried the new M&S chicken!!! Made chicken katsu, the 'chicken' pieces were really nice, I'm not sure how similar it tastes to actual chicken as I never used to like or eat it, but this was lovely. Had a really good texture too, I stir fried it with mixed herbs, garlic and pepper to add a bit of flavour as it looked a bit plain. Will definitely be buying it again, and only half the packet was used for this meal ☺️💚🌱

NEVER (repeat x100) ever go shopping when you're hungry... This mini haul literally cost me a small fortune, but does show the variety of little snacks and treats available for vegans nowadays.
