This time last week, well, I was still fast asleep in bed. Why you ask? Because it was the beautiful beginning of my week off. That thought alone has depressed me immensely this morning.
However, a week of relaxation almost feels like it's been a reset button for me. And even though I REALLY didn't want to get out of bed this morning, I'm ready to approach this week with the optimism that I was so obviously missing pre-holiday.
My nails are painted. My hair is tamed. My outfit was planned in advance and my make up hasn't been rushed. Coffee poured, healthy breakfast AND lunch packed... I think I'm ready to take on the day.
Now I just need to get through a morning of polite "how was your break?" niceties and I'll be able to call it a successful Monday. 😉 (On a side note, does anyone ever feel like giving the unwanted, long answer when people ask you how you are, or how your weekend was, just to see them squirm? If you've worked in an office, then you know that this happens...)

Yesterday, was the hardest thing I have EVER had to do. The first 13 miles went better than expected, ran past my family and didn't see them the first time though 👎 then mile 13-20 my knee decided to give up, I had so much energy and the time was ticking... BUT I GOT TO THE FINISH LINE!!!!! 💪🏃🏻♀️✨

Good morning and congratulations to everyone who completed the London marathon yesterday! 🏃🏼♀️I'm so inspired by people who commit to such an impressive, challenging goal, so I'm taking that inspiration to the gym with me this morning after a fun yet slightly indulgent weekend of delicious food, dancing and fun with friends. So, uhm, I kinda went off the grid (again). I´m so sorry but I´ve been having a really bad time with my mental health. And then I also put a lot of pressure on myself with writing my bachelor thesis and all the research I have to do for that. It´s just been a bit hard lately & it´s probably not getting better soon. But I´m going to come out on top & I´m going to rock everything that´s thrown my way. I will feel better at the en doc the week though once I have had my first class in every course & therefore know what I´m up to during this semester. Let´s hope it´s going to be a great one!⠀🙌🏻
One year ago today I began my #30before30 challenge! Today I'm reviewing how I've done. With the big 3-0 looming tomorrow I can safely say I'm not really ready to be 30 yet.. I still have so much to learn and so much to do, I can't be at this milestone already!
One of our favourite books of the moment is The Little Book of Hygge- filled with inspiring tips on how to create that magical "Hygge" lifestyle that the Danes are so fond off. Best enjoyed by candlelight with a large mug of tea. ☕️🔥
I feel like I've been a bad fitness blogger and it's time I did something about it. Easter has absolutely destroyed me. Fitness wise I've stuck to my workouts about 90%, but the food is a whole other story. I think I've eaten enough for three people over the weekend! Indulging comes at a cost and to be honest, I feel terrible to the point where it's affecting my sleep and my general mood. So it's time to end my love affair with chocolate eggs and pizza. Today marks the beginning of our 10 week holiday countdown so what better way to kick off a week than with a fresh outlook on what I want to achieve, and a ton of motivation? I've just got back from a sweaty upper body and HIIT session, and am about to head off to work with my food prepped for the week. #MondayMotivation at its finest! Commuting to work and wishing it was Saturday evening and I was watching the sun go down with this one again.
She spent a full 15 minutes outside without going mental and barking which is HUGE progress. Baby steps but we will get there in the end!

This place is seriously so beautiful! Almost looks like a painting 😍 When I'm at places like this it can be hard to find the balance between taking so many photos to capture all the beauty and being present in the moment! Does anyone else find that? I always make sure I stop and take it all in💚

Light and shadows at @yspsculpture yesterday, this was a place for contemplation and calm. We only have 5 days in the office before we run away to Canada this weekend, it's going to be a bit mad but it'll all be worth it. I've never had 2 weeks off work before, I have no idea what to expect!
