Yesterday in seminary, we learned about education, and it's importance. This really stuck out to me since I'm graduating and planning to attend college here in the fall. Heavenly Father wants us to continue our education. It is told in the scriptures that whatever knowledge that we gain while on this earth, we will be able to take in the life to come. Whether this education is going to college, a trading school, apprenticeship or anything I may be leaving out, it is important that we strive to learn. This doesn't just mean schooling, this also means spiritual knowledge. Feast upon the scriptures and the words of the prophets. Study them, and come to know them. Love them. This will bring great blessings into your life. #Education#mormon#mormonquotes#ldsquotes#lds

It's been over 4 months since I was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and it has been the best decision I've ever made. What a great and beautiful blessing it has been. I've been blessed in so many ways a result it that I can't count or even begin to fathom all the future blessings it will bring. I'm so thankful for the restored and fullness of the gospel, the missionaries, and the restored keys of the priesthood especially since just this past Sunday I was ordained to the Melchizedek Priesthood. I've been lucky to have one the best friends anyone could ever ask for to be my teacher in my conversion, colleague, rodeo buddy, and best friend. I've received one of the greatest gifts from you and that's happiness and the opportunity to become a member of this great church. @babygirlbigdreams you have a pretty awesome eternal companion and an awesome family :) #lds#mormon#happiness#jesuschrist#faith#ldstemple
I'm currently watching some street magic done by Chris Ramsay, who is amazing by the way, and at the end of one of his videos, this is what he says. If you think about it, it's true. It doesn't really matter about what job we have, if we have 6 pack abs or look like a 10/10 when being rated, but what matters is that we are all unique, we are children of a loving Heavenly Father, children of God, we are. And once we start realizing we are, then we will be able to see the light of Christ within us, and others will be able to as well. We are all amazing human beings; why not share that news with the world? 😜
DAY 143: We conclude Alma 5. Alma asked several more questions to help his people consider the condition of their hearts exhorting them to prepare now if their hearts weren't in the right place:
"I say unto you, if ye are not ye are not prepared to meet God. Behold ye must prepare quickly; for the kingdom of heaven is soon at hand..."(v.28)
And to accept the Savior's invitation:
"Behold, he sendeth an invitation unto all men, for the arms of mercy are extended towards them, and he saith: Repent, and I will receive you.
Yea, he saith: Come unto me and ye shall partake of the fruit of the tree of life; yea, ye shall eat and drink of the bread and the waters of life freely;
Yea, come unto me and bring forth works of righteousness..." (v.33-35)
“One of the greatest challenges we will face is to be able to live in [the] world but somehow not be of [the] world. We have to create Zion in the midst of Babylon. …Wherever we are, whatever city we may live in, we can build our own Zion by the principles of the celestial kingdom and ever seek to become the pure in heart. …
We do not need to become as puppets in the hands of the culture of the place and time. We can be courageous and can walk in the Lord’s paths and follow His footsteps.” -Elder David R. Stone •
• "This question, 'Can ye feel so now?' rings across the centuries. With all that we have received in this dispensation—including the Restoration of the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the outpouring of spiritual gifts, and the indisputable blessings of heaven—Alma’s challenge has never been more important...
"It is not surprising that some in the Church believe they can’t answer Alma’s question with a resounding yes. They do not 'feel so now.' They feel they are in a spiritual drought. Others are angry, hurt, or disillusioned. If these descriptions apply to you, it is important to evaluate why you cannot 'feel so now.'"
"Many who are in a spiritual drought and lack commitment have not necessarily been involved in major sins or transgressions, but they have made unwise choices. Some are casual in their observance of sacred covenants. (Continued in comments ⬇)

#lds#sud#vemesegueme#familyareforever#savethedate 21/MAI/2017 #felicidade 🎉
Good morning everyone! Here it is! The first meme to ever be on this account! This is supposed to be a "mixed" account, so I'll be putting a variety of posts up.
Just a funny (but at the same time serious) reminder to keep Satan out. OUT of your home, OUT of your thoughts. OUT of your life. Have a great day!
I was doing some grocery shopping the other day, and when I got back to the car I looked at the twins and they were doing the cutest 'rubbing heads together thingy' ever… I had the camera in the front seat so I whipped it out and snapped the end of it! People were even stop to watch them it was so cute! I'm so lucky to live with moments like this every day!
Paris Temple dedication was beautiful! The youth from all the french stakes were reunited for a incredible show the night before the dedication and I can tell the Spirit was present! I am so grateful for the gospel in my life, and for the Holy Ghost who testifies me every single day that God and Jesus Christ live and that they love me inconditionnaly. That brings me peace and strength to keep going until I see them again ❤️ #lds#mormon#ldstemple#paristemple#henrybeyring#neilaandersen#dedication
As my last week of Seminary for the 2016/2017 school year comes to a close I find myself in aw of what God can do with what we bring to him. When I was first confronted with the prospect of serving as Smyrna's new early morning Seminary teacher I was struck with a bit of fear. Could I keep my house tidy enough for daily visitors? Could I balance 5 lessons a week with my motherly responsibilities? Could I do all that and still run my cleaning business? Would I be able to wake up on time? And Brian's biggest concern; can I handle the stress of all of this and not be affected physically in a negative way, (he knew my body doesn't handle stress very well). When we considered the possible blessings that would come we realized all our negatives really were just manifestations of fear concerning my own limitations and nothing more. We decided I would accept the calling, act in faith. In September I started teaching the New Testament to highschool teens at 6:00 every morning. Today I see all the ways that God blessed and strengthened me in this calling, in my marriage, in my parenting, and in my testimony of his Son Jesus Christ. He made me a morning person, (I never once woke up late). Our home has been kept cleaner than in the past,( with 3 little kids, I've come to accept it will never be as clean as I'd like), our youngest children have had a Mom who has been up and wide awake each morning. With me getting up early each day I have seen Brian off to work and he has not slept in or been late to work once. My relationships with Briley and Cathryn have been strengthened as we have studied the scriptures together, and I have grown to realize just how relevant the Bible is to our day. This calling has been the best thing to happen to our family since the twins were born and I am eternally thankful. Our Father in heaven really does work miracles with a willing and available heart. He will transform a sinner, he will turn a night owl into an early bird, and he will turn our flaws into strengths in order to fulfill his purposes. I'm so thankful for what he's done for me.❤️ #earlymorningseminary#lds#newtestament
Ezekiel 18:20 - The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Faith (and /or hope) in Jesus Christ is the first principle of the gospel and is more than belief, since true faith always moves its possessor to some kind of physical and mental action; it carries an assurance of the fulfillment of the things hoped for...strong faith is developed by obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ; in other words, faith comes by righteousness...Where there is true faith there are miracles, visions, dreams, healings, and all the gifts of God that He gives to His saints. ("Faith", Bible Dictionary)
Let the life lived today be the miracle promised tomorrow 😊#lds#motivation#lovelife
