aren't those THE cutest little feet ✨ 54 degrees out, a vanilla latte in my hands, and did all things fall at the pumpkin patch with some friend's and their babies 🍂🎃 and let me tell ya ☝🏻 the baby fever is getting REAL over here 🙆🏼 #APerfectDay
Got milk? 🥛I worked and worked and worked so stinking hard for the breastfeeding relationship I have now with Mara. We dealt with so many different issues in the beginning and oh man, the pain..... toe curling and tear inducing for the first 3-4 months of her life. I almost quit a million times but by the grace of God, we're still nursing today and no sign of stopping anytime soon 🙌🏻 Breastfeeding for me was beyond hard but 100% worth every rough second. I'll never be able to comprehend how special it is to help my child thrive through my own body. We're both obsessed with this nursing thang and it's out of this 🌎 good! #normalizebreastfeeding P.S. I just happened to be drinking milk when Bret snapped this photo and the irony is thick ✌🏼
I gave this book out yesterday, and I am filled with so much peace. Whether or not anything comes of it, this book has the potential to change a life, and I helped give someone that opportunity. I shared with someone my own peace and happiness. I reached out to one of God’s children. I bore testimony of the book’s fullness and truth. I felt added strength in my testimony of the Gospel. I experienced unconditional, Christ-like love for someone. I am a witness that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love us, and that this book is true. 💗
"The corruption & wickedness in our day is alarming. But in spite of all this, I wouldn't trade living in this time with any other time in the history of the world. We are blessed beyond measure to live in a day of unparalleled prosperity, enlightenment, & advantage." -Dieter F. Uchtdorf ...I love this talk by this amazing speaker! It surprises me he would say he wouldn't trade living in this day(because I keep wishing I was a pioneer & didn't have to wear makeup or workout!😜) ! The world is so crazy right now, but we need not fear because Christ has perfect love for us. I love these uplifting words! & I love all of you! 😘 #lds#nofear
Reading this verse and realized that it’s a great acronym for SMILE. When we smile, do we remember that being spiritually minded is life eternal? Being spiritually mindful can mean a lot of things. Today, this verse put in perspective that being spiritually minded is focusing on the end goal, the prize and the stakes at hand which is eternal life. So SMILE while you work your hardest to get to that end prize. #sharegoodness#bookofmormon#lds#imamormon#mormonmommystudies#keepthegospelsimple
It's a beautiful day to enjoy an annual tradition! Hopefully, these repetitive activities will provide my children with lasting memories of fun times together. My husband always says that even if they don't remember the memories, he and I will.

My mom used to tell us kids, "Go out and play." As a single mother with five of us under the age of eight, as we grew up her kind suggestion was made with perhaps a bit of desperation. With a gully, a stream, a ditch and a neighborhood full of hollers and shouts during kick the can and steal the flag, we stayed outside until the smell of dinner sent us racing home. My mom's words got me outside where my soul put down roots in the soil around campfires roasting weenies and smores, reached heavenwards as I stared at the stars, grew spiritual branches (as I sawed others down to build forts. Sorry brother Lindsley), and sent forth divinely feminine blossoms that somehow got crushed along the way. But seasons come and seasons go, and here I am a grandma who still hears the call, "Go outside and play." So I do. And life is beautiful. Thanks Mom @shirleymckaybritsch
Have been working on these cute conversation bubbles in between finishing up orders. My sister @lchristofferson will be having the youth she is over at church paint them and then add the theme for the year... #askofgodaskinfaith I thought that these were so great that I had to make one for my own kiddos. You can swipe to see the finished stained one and hopefully later tonight I will post the completely finished bubble with the words and scripture on it. What a great message for all of us. ❤️
Daily Insight: Follow the Prophet
It has been said that the world needs a Prophet in our day and age. I would disagree, the world already has a Prophet! The world needs people who will listen and follow the Prophets of God!
Most people would say, "If Moses, Elijah, Jeremiah, Jesus Christ, Peter, or Paul were here I'd listen to them and follow them" Yet there are prophets on earth, and we choose to take offense at their words, members grumble about Elder Oak's tone on gay marriage, or on ordain women.
President Heber J Grant one time remarked that some members who sang “We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet” seemed to add the words, “provided he keeps his mouth shut politically.” Following the Prophet is not so much a test of the Prophet as it is a test of the faithfulness of the people. When the Prophets and apostles teach doctrine over the pulpit and it is passed through to conference reports it is as if Jesus Christ himself taught the doctrine. When the Lord speaks the topic should be settled in the mind of all faithful saints.
Too often we pick and choose what we want to hear at conference. The gospel is not a gospel of picking and choosing, either all 15 men are prophet seer and revelators or none are. Either Thomas S. Monson is the Prophet of God on earth today or he is not.
It is up to us to listen and choose, our choice will determine our destiny. Be warned though, "How you listen to the prophet makes the difference between being a Laman or Lemuel or a Nephi."
Elder W. Grant Bangerter

One of the great lies of Lucifer sounds something like this: “You don’t have faith because you are a sinner.” I call it a lie because faith in Jesus Christ has everything to do with our sin; we have faith in Him precisely because we sin. I don’t mean to suggest that sin and faith are equal concepts; we cannot confess faith while openly pursuing sin. However, we can confess sin while openly pursuing faith. God wants us to acknowledge our sin. He says, “You will not have faith in my Son if you do not acknowledge your sin.” So don’t give up, thinking you’re deprived of faith because you have a sinful habit; that’s precisely when we need to exercise faith: we turn to God and tell Him about our sin, and we ask for deliverance through His Son.
This picture was taken 5 years ago when we were in the midst of adoption paperwork. We'd just had our hearts broken (again) and were scared to keep trying. I remember at the time wishing I could just know what was going to happen. I felt like I could stand the waiting, the heartbreak and whatever else lay ahead for us if I just knew the outcome. Looking back, I'm grateful that I didn't know the trials and miracles that were in our future. I would not have believed we'd add two kiddos in 2.5 years. I'm grateful to have a Heavenly Father who knows what I need so much better than I do. I'm grateful for the heartache that is part of our family story because it brought us closer. Our family is messy and imperfect. And because of what we've been through together I'm learning to be better about trusting God and turning my days over to Him, the One who led us to each other.

Marriage goals. We ALL should be having a love affair with our significant Other. These two 😘 While our short little session was going on, I witnessed fun, laughter, hugs and kisses. No prompting. None needed. Just point and shoot. 👌🏼#belovedstories
Can the weekend come back?! 😭 I love spending my weekends with this sweet boy. ⠀
Luckily I have a 5 day weekend this week and I couldn't be more excited about it. So lots of play time with this sweet boy and I'm going to treat it like G O L D. Because that's basically what it is. ⠀
Love how much he is growing up and becoming a little boy. Time goes so quickly. I'm grateful I've learned healthy habits so that I can teach him those things as he grows. Understanding how to treat our body and our minds is essential. Grateful to the community of friends who lift me up and teach me so I can teach my family! 😊
