Fridays are always a good time for ferns! Experimenting with all kinds of hat band ideas, looking forward to crafting a whole new line of these when the hectic holiday rush dies down.
Shop updates have been trickling in all week, and selling out just as fast!! Doing my best to keep up so watch for more coming this weekend!!! Overwhelmed with the love of strangers, it is such a warm hug in a dark time, each one of you is so appreciated ♥✨💜
The face behind the little squares you all are following 😘 I’m Lisa and I am the maker, packager, email responder, accountant, and brains behind #alloftheabovely with some help from my sidekick husband at times (😘). I have been on this small business journey since 2014. I’m so thankful for you all and hope you enjoy following along. I work out of my home in a studio we created. I have a constant need to make things and get my best work done at 2am. I am a nurse full time in the ICU and work with some of the best people I’ve ever met. I’ll be 32 next month but still feel 22 😉 I’m very grateful and feel lucky for this life I live everyday. The small business life can be overwhelming at times but I’ve learned to take a step back from it all every once in a while and as much as I want to say YES to every order and opportunity, there are other things that I enjoy doing and need to make sure I find the right balance🙌🏻 I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Thanksgiving week!! 📸 @apeoplepartyproductions

This actually started out as a small test for a bespoke card holder, and then I realised it was perfect as a protective cover for my Japanese skiving knife!
Expect a large version soon!
The boys get to observe a friend from the congregation as he makes a leather briefcase. So cool. They both are learning some great tips and tricks and skills from an ol' pro. Right here he is using 2 needles, one in his mouth at the moment and other in his hand to handstitch this seam around the leather that will become a top flap on the bag. He is using a stitching pony to hold the leather and free up his hands while he does this. .
