| This 71-year-old lady called Vivian showed us around #exarcheia , the #anarchist neighbourhood in #athens during our trip to #greece . She told us: "Even though I experienced many adventures abroad I came back to live here. I really love this neighbourhood - even the bad sides."
When life doesn’t go right, go left. ⬅️ When things seem dark, turn on a light. 🕯 When life says, “I’m pushing you down”, look into the abyss and say “Bitch, I’m an expert climber.” 👊🏻 Things might not always be sunshine and rainbows 🌈, but you need that storm. Embrace the lightening ⚡️, for that power and strength are within you. 💚

Honestly I think about this a lot. I try to use words other than s*upid or c*azy, but they are so ingrained in our vernacular that it takes conscious thought to avoid them. However, this does not make it okay. We still have to make the conscious effort to avoid using slurs, no matter how normalized it is. ~Miles
A text box on a yellow and white stripped background that reads "Slurs becoming normalized in our vernacular doesn't mean they are no longer slurs, or that they don't hold any power. Ableist and misogynistic slurs have become normalized in today's language because ableism and misogony have been normalized in our society. B*tch, sl*t, c*nt, s*upid, id*ot, d*mb, ect. are all still slurs and it's your job to stop using them, no matter how common they've become. Just because "everyone else" uses them doesn't mean it's any less harmful when you use them. Two wrong =/= a right. [End discription]
What liberals heard -> “I am a shitty president that doesn’t want any more wetbacks hopping the borders. Only rich people that come to America are okay with me. I don’t know what merit means, but if you get in to the US you won the the lottery so quit whining.” Correct me if I’m wrong. #democrats#democraps#liberals#left#leftwing @occupydemocrats @housedemocrats @thedemocrats @democrats_and_liberals @the_typical_liberal #conservative#republican#right#rightwing @smarterthantheleft @republican.s @republicanparty @republicanlegion @millennial_republicans @republican_savages_
