I am thankful for my Take Back The Kitchen community!! I get a weekly meal plan emailed to me every week, along with a grocery list!
I don't have to search Pinterest anymore and pin recipes that I will never make or run to the grocery store for that 1 missing ingredient!
I am not eating out as much and I cut my grocery bill in half!! The meals are healthy and I get tips and tricks on how to incorporate more veggies for my picky eaters (even if they dip their green beans in apple sauce 🙊) It sets my week up for success and I can't thank our RD enough!! 🙌

It doesn’t mean life doesn’t take twists and turns or have peaks and valleys. It means that you can handle it. With ease and composure. 🙌🏻
It doesn’t mean you have millions of dollars 💵 but maybe you don’t have to check your bank account before you enter the grocery store for ONCE☝🏻. .
It doesn’t mean you have a 6 pack but it means that you are bettering yourself every day. You do one thing every day to be a better you. You feel happy and healthy. ☺️

Currently seeking good time management books. Any tips?
I recently moved from a largely independent study schedule to a full time internship, and I'm not going to lie, it's been a challenge. I love my job, but I simply have much less free time than before.
I'm hopeful minimalism will provide a solution. It's proven so helpful with posessions, but I'm still struggling with figuring out how to use my time and energy effectively and to stress less. But I'll learn! ☝
17 weeks into our move to Denmark and the girls Danish learning is incredible.
Annabelle is at a dual language school with half her lessons in English and half in danish.
Her 22 new friends are a similar balance too.
She's sort of learning while playing and really enjoying the process.
Sophia 3 has gone full immersion at nursery.
She has, I'm told a good level of understanding and is practising by swapping one word out at a time.
This brings us to me. (My wife is danish)
I've had this conversation a load of times and I've only just noticed what I've been doing.
Here is why it's easier for my girls... Here is why it's harder for me... The truth is that I have a gentle process of immersion going on with my girls slowly introducing more and more language.
Alongside this I've been using an app for 5 minutes per day that I might push up to 15.
It's amazing what comes up when you start writing or talking about what's important.
So easily do we seek to justify our current position and miss as a result our advantages.
Our excuses are a prison.

We’ve all heard the flight attendant say “Put on your own oxygen mask before helping those around you.”
As a new mom I naturally want to put all of my baby’s needs before my own.. in EVERY way. Even if that means it’s 3pm when I realize I haven’t eaten breakfast yet!😣
I’m slowing staring to learn that doing small things for myself (like eating breakfast & exercising for 30mins) actually makes me a better mommy! Working out boosts my endorphins, decreases my stress level, makes me feel powerful, energizes, and motivates me!
I usually try to fit in my 30min workout during Rhett’s nap time. But having a 10 week old isn’t always predictable.
If you watched my story yesterday you saw that my little guy woke up from his nap in the middle of my workout. Instead of giving up or calling it quits, I set up his play mat and pressed on. He didn’t mind one bit.. smiled and watched me the entire time. 😍
