Today is random act of kindness day in my challenge group. I decided to donate money to help victims of the fires in California. I went through Ellen Degeneres’ go fund me page.
Research shows that doing things for others can help YOU feel better.
What can you do today for someone else?
It’s a sad day when I don’t feel like eating all of my favorite Thursday chipotle meal. At least I will have leftovers 😉 I Tend to stress eat when I am emotional. Luckily, tonight went better because we have no real junk food at my house. 😂 that is pretty much my strategy to cut back on sweets. Although, I did eat two Lara bars today with being emotional. I would say that is not as bad as it could have been. What strategies do you use to cut back on eating junk food?
It is CRAZY how quickly life can change. Two days ago, I was sitting on cloud nine with some hopeful news. After a phone call today, we learned what could be potentially sad news.
I wanted to reach for junk food. I also wanted to reach for a glass of 🍷
I CHOSE to take an hour long walk up some crazy steep hills with my fur baby and tiny human. Being in the beauty of nature helped with clarity. Sweating helped release some stress.
Will I still have a glass of wine? Probably. However, I had the best excuses to throw in the towel today and do nothing healthy.
