Today my girlfriend and I did our first Coffs Harbour Mindful Mumma workshop with a playgroup here.
It was a lovely afternoon of helping mums with strategies to feel calm, energetic, detox their homes and feel more at peace. Focusing on mind, body and soul to be more mindful and enjoy life. Mums generally take care of themselves last and so their health suffers and they are often depleted in nutrients.
It was wonderful to finish with a meditation and then baby foot massage with our beautiful essential oils and carrier oils. The babies were laughing and relaxing as they had a pressure point massage. The mums also made some bath salts with essential oils to relax with at home.
I am totally excited about the roll out of our global online 30 Day 'Mindful Mumma' program for the month of August.
We will also will be booking in more workshops around Australia.

I'm very proud to present the first (#001 ) picture in the new #Kingdividuals line of pictures. I devised the concept after capturing photos of individuals in the city and thought it would be a nice way of acknowledging the great people who've participated in defining this page and just general good sports for getting involved. As such the first Kingdividuals is a girl who works at Virgin Active as a cleaner and sports an amazing Afro. Whilst leaving the building I remember being struck by the vivid red contrast of her uniform and the stairwell wall behind us. I instantly knew I had to capture this moment and asked her permission to take a photo. She agreed on the condition that her face wouldn't be shown and this was the result. I'm proud to say I think this is some of my best work and likened the image to a really cool album cover. I know I sound pompous but acknowledging our strengths is a basic human right in a world where we seek to empower ourselves to become higher, evolved beings. Anyway I'll climb down from my soapbox and hope you enjoy the picture 😄🙏🏾

. 🌟 Day 24 🌟 Love Love Love .
Today’s Shine Tip is simple: Love Love Love. If this is the only one you remember, then that’s perfect, because in the end that’s what it’s all about. And Love and Light of course go hand in hand, as I shared in my blog post about Shining Your Light: . “Your inner light gets activated by everything that has to do with a four-letter word, can you guess it? Yep. L.O.V.E.” .
So whatever connects you to love, automatically switches on your inner light. This can be any activity that you infuse with love or it can be: . - A conscious expression of love (Shine Tip 13 - Do Good, Feel Good)
- Spending time with someone you love (Shine Tip 20 - Vibe With Your Tribe)
- Clearing your inner and outer environment to keep only what you love (Tip 25 - Clean & Clear)
- It can also be an act of self-love (Tip 9 - Do You Love Yourself? Tip 10 - Dare to Self-Care) .
And it doesn’t always have to be a grand deed: . “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” ~Mother Teresa. .
In some way, shape or form, we are all looking for love. It can get distorted which has us “looking for love in all the wrong places”- which can get literally addictive. And so the most loving thing that we can do for others and ourselves, is to first connect with the LOVE that we have INSIDE of us. .
Simply the intention can already propel us on a journey towards a more loving life, which is in the end a literally more ful-filling life, as most of us feel like we have a hole on the inside when we’re not connected to our inner source of love. .
So how do we connect to that inner well of love? That’s what many of the Shine Tips have been about. As mentioned above, it starts with the intention (Shine Tip 1) and next it’s about creating time and space for it. We can either sink into it for instance by SoulBathing (Shine Tip 2) or meditation, we can also actively connect with our heart space (Shine Tip 12), feed ourselves with something that inspires us (Shine Tip #8 ) or talk to ourselves in a loving way. .

The Thurle Stone at Thurlestone beach. Tomorrow this beach will be full of athletes pushing their limits by swimming a 1k circuit in the sea, followed by a 16k trail run around the coastal path. My old way of controlling my emotions was to try to not experience them at all, to suppress them. Now looking back, I realize it was an immature way to look at it--trying to control the experience itself. It's important to experience it or it will pop up at the wrong time for you. It's really what you do after your emotions flood over you that shows who you are. Be the one who is real and honest yet doesn't hurt others in the midst of it all. Be a leader and a lover, warrior!🛡🌸
