The real meaning of upekkha is equanimity, not indifference in the sense of unconcern for others. As a spiritual virtue, upekkha means stability in the face of the fluctuations of worldly fortune. It is evenness of mind, unshakeable freedom of mind, a state of inner equipoise that cannot be upset by gain and loss, honor and dishonor, praise and blame, pleasure and pain. #buddhism#lifeissimple
A Millennial speaks:
I am not my parents, I am not my grandparents. I am the PRESENT.
I am not inspired by money, I am not aroused by titles. I am driven by DEATH.
I do not seek acceptance from society nor do I care if I'm approved. I am OMNIPOTENT.
Am I goal-oriented? Yes! Who isn't? The goal is honest and true happiness within myself that would reflect out onto the rest of society.
I am aware of the reality we have created for ourselves. I am more aware of the reality I am creating for myself.
I am in this lifetime once...and experiencing this...MY human existence in it's utmost manner is all that I care to do. However I see fit.
It's not the goal of all Millennials, but it is the goal of this one.👽 #humanexistence#beinghuman#milennial#truthbetold#foreverevolving#lifeissimple#foreveryoung#tellyourpresent#lovesexdreams
