🌊 You have to get comfortable with what is 'unseen" and expand your experiences.. You might think that you are more secure if you keep things unchanged, yet, SECURITY comes from growing and taking risk. ---------------------------
I guarantee that when you let go, you will worry less. It might seem scary at first, but it's really not that bad. You just have to get comfortable with the "unseen." ----------------------

Please do not tell me who won MasterChef Jr!! I'm watching the finale tonight with the kids so no spoilers 😉 I know the popular thing nowadays is no screens, no screens, no screens! And while I don't allow my kids unlimited screens (in the summer anyway 🙈 ) we do have a few shows we really like watching together, MasterChef Junior being one of them. They can see what kids are capable of, not be afraid of trying new foods, and pause each episode so we can stare at Gordon Ramsey's watch. Watch addicts get it. I love cheering on our favorite contestants with the kids and 🤞🏻that Justise wins tonight.
you know what makes me happy and gives me hope for civilization? when people like my friend Angela are driven to learn for the sake of learning. she completed a university degree at her own pace while simultaneously pursuing a different passion—namely, a career in kick-ass hair styling, which she intends to continue. it was an honour to take my camera down to UWindor's campus and document the look of pride she wore on such a significant day. we are all proud of you! #mondaymotivation#lifelonglearning

“Before I started my Bachelor of Arts, I was already working in the fashion department at NAFA. In fact, I’ve been working with different design firms since I graduated with a Diploma in Fashion Design in 2004. But after a gap of 13 years, I was starting to feel outdated. Things change quickly in this field and people keep coming up with new ways, new ideas … so I decided to go back and learn the latest developments in design.
The creation of design is a journey of learning, and you have to keep updating yourself about what’s happening locally and globally. It can be an expensive skill to learn as well, because you have to buy the materials, fabrics, etc., so the S$5,000 from the SkillsFuture Study Awards really helped to lighten the load. I don’t know what will happen after my degree but I’m keeping myself open to possibilities that I haven’t explored yet.” Benz Tan is currently pursuing his BA (Hons) Fashion at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) with the SkillsFuture Study Awards. Armed with several years of experience in the design industry, he’s now on his way to upgrade his skills and discover new opportunities.

do you love music? i ❤️ music and i wouldn't have survive some painful moments as it is one of my coping mechanisms. 🎹 Music is positive influence to the brain and research has proven music to make you happier, more intelligent and efficient.
It doesn't matter how old you are! Isn't that great?
🎷 Music stimulates dopamine, which is a chemical in our brain. This is the same chemical that rewards you when you get an orgasm or eating ice cream.
If you like my vibe, PLEASE follow me, thank you 😀
Post from @nataliegrant ✨🙏🏻🙏🏻✨ This is my new friend, @amandapt6. I met her this morning on my flight from Nashville to New York. She was the sweetest reminder to me that God cares about even the slightest details.
See, I was traveling by myself today, which I NEVER do. I always have someone with me, but today, for a variety of reasons, that just wasn't possible. Y'all know I hate to fly. And I hate traveling alone. I almost re-scheduled my trip, even though I have a very important meeting today. But @bernieherms encouraged me to say no to my fear, and go ahead with my trip. So I did.
Then sweet @amandapt6 sat down in the seat next to me on the plane. She subtly let me know that she knew who I was and that she follows my life on social media. But then we just had the sweetest conversation. It was an instant connection and I knew I had an immediate friend. She's like...MY PEOPLE! My anxiety left and I was immediately at ease. I mean, I know I was never alone, but often times God sends someone along in the natural realm to remind us of His supernatural presence which is always with us. Thankful for HIS kindness today. And thankful for her kindness today. God is good, all the time.
Have a safe trip to Africa, Amanda!

If I end up having the same effect on someone as Fenway Court has had on me, the equivalent distance in time would be 109 years after I complete my project, which would be the year 2171.
If everything goes as planned (haha), the collection will be ready in 2062.
2171 would be 154 years from now. No one will care what could have been, they just want to see the results. I am here to show you results. No one knows what the path I'm taking will look like--year over year it's a complete mystery to me--but you can be sure it's going to kick up a lot of dust.

Finishing off the day listening to @kxmofficial with the extremely talented guitar player @georgelynchofficial. I was able to meet him at a concert for the first time a little over a year ago. He is a very humble person. I had waited my whole life to meet him and let him know how much he has influence my life and art. Now I am sure that he's heard that from tens of thousands of people over his lifetime if not more. But the thing that strikes me the most about him, is that he's in his 60s and could continue to play things he's really well-known for and be successful at it, but instead continues to develop and change, try new things, new projects, and perform live. I really respect that as an artist. I hope that I continue to push myself and try new things in the area of ceramics and pottery for the rest of my career.
I only was able to complete 50 mugs today. I did enjoy the views that I've been waiting a long time to see here in Wisconsin. Sunshine, green grass, blue skys, and trees full of leaves.
I never thought that i would be meditating daily and enjoying it, if you ask me this a year ago!
When i first started to meditate, i felt angry 😡 and impatient. Anything will set me off, the honk of a car, dogs barking, you name it.
👏 Now, i literally feel like i'm physically floating in air whenever i am in a deep state of meditation.
You are a normal person like me, i can identify with your struggles to get your practice started, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. 🙌
