Mondays are for getting lost on the way to work and looking at buildings frozen in time. I later learned it’s actually a gallery/antique shop located in a Georgian townhouse from the 18th century (and it’s even more charming inside) 🖤
You know you're having a good night when you walk out of the restaurant after dinner and you're greeted with a sight like this rainbow over the Royal Mile! If you happen to be in the Pasadena area tonight, I'm giving a presentation on Edinburgh at 7:30 in Distant Lands Bookstore. C'mon by - it's FREE!
The Great Hall of the Museum of Natural History in London. The museum is world-class, of course, but even if dinosaur bones and the like aren't your cup of tea, the building itself is enough of a reason to visit. And - like all national museums in Britain - it's FREE! We'll be stopping there on the Frugal & Fun London/Liverpool tour, March 6-15. For only $2200, it's a great opportunity to travel with a really small group (less than 5!) and see a lot for very little! Contact me in the profile for details. The tour is about to close!
The front facade of York Minster. See the heart-shaped stonework in the large middle window? That's known as The Heart of Yorkshire and legend says that couples who kiss underneath it, will stay together forever.
